I am always in awe at the sheer amount of stock that this shop has. Admittedly I only ever needs small items like buttons, but to somebody interested in crafts and design this would be an Aladdin’s cave of a shop. Well worth a visit as the staff are very knowledgeable and can certainly point you in the right direction.

I love Watson and Thornton. I have been buying from there for around 30 years. They have such great choice and are even stocking upholstery fabric now. The staff are friendly and helpful. Just what every person who loves sewing and crafting needs.

Staff excellent as are the choice of materials. Only one bugbear, I thought the price of their Christmas fabric rolls far too expensive. The cheaper ones were rubbish. If you want service with a smile & courtesy then step inside. This is a genuine review from a real customer.
