I visited today and found the experience extremely disappointing.
However, I assume if your are a
regular customer and know what your looking for, your experience would be different to mine.
I enquired about some material, I thought it was voile, I was told it was chiffon!!
The assistant did not ask me what it was I was specifically looking for or show any interest in doing so.
I stood at the counter, while theychatted amongst themselves. I left promptly there after.

Where to start. The sewing hobbyist nirvana. A goldmine of fabric and haberdashery. The man has everything you need and Keith is almost too knowledgeable and loves to talk!!

Called this morning. The staff sre second to none. Could not have given me more help and advice. Been out of circulation through autoimmune problems and didn't quite know what I wanted. Got the material for wedding guest coat. At a price that is second to none. 60inch material at a fiver.WOW.will be back there as soon as this project finished. Chris Coupland.

Amazing fabric shop!

Would come here more often if I lived in Yorkshire. Incredible quality fabrics and the prices are very cheap (and the staff generous). Great selection of wools, jerseys, linings and craft fabrics.

Lots of buttons too so you can easily get a match for whatever you're making!
