This is the 2nd time I've been to Sam , she did an amazing job first time I went to her advising on what would and wouldn't suit me and she was spot on. Went from med length to pixi cut ✂️ 🙃 Been again today and came out feeling a different person. Amazing cut a d blow dry, guidance as always and is a genuinely lovely lady.

Could not have been worse!!!
Arrived on time but kept waiting by stylist Katy. Having carefully explained my cut, she proceeded to wash my hair with the her extra long talons. They painfully dug into my scalp several times and totally inappropriate for a hairdresser. The chair was faulty and she didn’t put enough of a gown around my shoulders. My blouse and shirt were left soaking wet. Far from professional!!
The cut was dreadful and not in anyway how I had requested.
GP has examined my scalp and was clearly able to see the sores on my scalp. I have to wait a couple of weeks before a hairdresser can rectify the appalling haircut due to the sores and pay again. She didn’t stop asking personal questions on where I lived, previously lived and even wanted to know where my family lived!! Plugged on at me, but I gave her a runaround story as I was not prepared to reveal such personal information. My family members would not have been pleased, either !!!

Constantly selling, wanting me to use another salon she works at, how I colour my hair plugging her services, rudely cut in on a customer next to me having her hair done by another stylist. Did not STOP selling her services instead of hairdressing - unbelievable!

The salon is in need of a serious re-furb and the chairs are unpleasantly stained. The salon owner needs to step up several gears and also her Health & Safety standards.
From previous postings it is pointless asking for a refund but if my scalp becomes infected then a claim will be following.
First visit, last visit.

Had my hair cut here for the first time in a while last week, as I no longer live in Teignmouth and am just visiting over festive period. Can't recommend this place enough! Last time I came in was a couple of years ago for an auburn balayage - didn't leave review at the time but it was also a very good experience. This time I think the stylist's name was Ruby (sorry if I remembered wrong!) She did a brilliant job. I just had a simple wash and cut because my hair was dead at the ends due to lots of colouring over the years which I'm growing out, and last time I had it cut was elsewhere and they put much shorter layers in than I wanted, which left the longest lengths looking thin. So I wanted to get rid of my split ends, and blend the layers together a bit so it would look more full, and she did an absolutely perfect job! I'm super happy with it. The layers are perfectly balanced, my dead ends are gone, and it just looks so much healthier. The best I've felt about my hair in a while. Thank you so much! I will definitely be back next time I'm down.

Had a lovely cut here a few months ago and I'm making my next appointment here.
Mixed race hair, very curly and sometimes cuts can take off too much length accidentally, but the stylist here knew exactly what she was doing!
Loved the clean and bright room as well - felt very comfortable.

I had been going to this salon regularly for the last 4 years. I ended up with a terrible dye job which left me with orange roots on Saturday. The owner Sophie told the stylist Sam why it had gone wrong but then denied to me there was a problem. "It will look better in the natural light". I was upset and crying but they just wanted me out of there. Owner didn't contact me for 3 days. I had to go to another salon but they wouldn't bleach my already fragile hair. I visited the salon for a refund and the owner ignored me and acted like I should just put up with it. She didn't want to give me a refund but she managed to give me half my money back when she realised that I wasn't going anywhere. Horrible and sad.

I want to thank Sam for always giving me a great haircut. The salon is clean and professional and all the staff are so friendly. I really enjoy my time here. More often than not I can park right outside the salon but on the rare occasion I can't there are plenty of available parking spaces in the two roads opposite. Look forward to my next treat time.

Lovely little salon that is easy to get to from the train station if you're not from Teignmouth - exit the station on foot via the pathway to your right, without crossing to the opposite side of the road.
Hair was well washed and conditioned, and the cut was exactly what I asked for.
