For my birthday, my husband and I booked the Twilight package that included a 2-hour spa experience and a sharing platter in the cafe afterwards. I must say the facilities are 5 Star! Beautiful thermal pool on the ground floor, several sauna rooms on the next level and then the rooftop pool. The reason I gave it only three stars is when we checked in the girl spent maybe a minute explaining everything, the longest being no phone usage and I felt very rushed. It would have been nice if she would have taken her time and explained everything in detail to build up the whole experience. I felt like she couldn’t care less that it was our first time there. The biggest detractor was people not reading and following the rules, especially the one of using a spa voice to not disrupt other guest’s experience. Unfortunately, there was a group of University students in the saunas at the same time as us that were being loud and when we asked them to lower their voices they became sarcastic and did not attempt to be quiet. We went for a relaxing experience and it was anything but that. When we told staff upon our check out, they didn’t apologize or seem fazed by it. With better customer service training and signage this place would be a must do in Bath. I will also say that the service and food in the Cafe was superb and would highly recommend. I am disappointed that our main goal in visiting was to relax and unwind was not achieved.

Amazing experience, but not that hot. Maybe I have been spoiled with the hot springs of Europe, but I found the water tepid, still, it was magical to be in the rooftop pool watching the seagulls cruising over and the clouds passing by, especially after dark with the city lights below. Indoor/outdoor pools on different levels, as well as steam rooms and sauna. Great experience.

Booked as part of a romantic pre-Christmas couple’s weekend away I had high hopes for this place.
Be aware there’s a whole no phones/camera policy, which is probably a good thing but not something they can legally enforce, however you won’t be wanting to carry one with you anyway.
The roof top pool is adequately warm, especially on a cold winter’s night which is when we visited.
You get a robe and towel from the Spa, I’d highly recommend stashing it in a specific place so it’s handy for when you get out of the pool, else it will get mixed up with everyone else’s!!!!

We had a lovely, relaxing time in the pool. It’s perfect for couples, no one really swims it’s just a really nice experience to relax together, or with friends I guess.
It transpired someone had made a complaint against a couple in our area of the pool, apparently they were being too intimate!!! Alongside other couples we were asked to “maybe separate” by a staff member, who was clearly embarrassed to request this. At first it really annoyed me, but then I realised it’s their problem not ours and we were just cuddling etc like every other couple. Unfortunately I couldn’t figure out who it was who had the “problem”, probably for the best!!!!!
We used the sauna too which was a nice experience.

Average bath experience. The roof top bath is just okay, kinda of crowded when we went for an evening dip.

The shower area is below average no specific shower for a male and female; the locker is also mix.

I would suggest bringing your own flip flops, it is not provided by the facility, the floors are wet.

I took a friend here on Wednesday evening, and we enjoyed the pools especially the roof top one which was very busy mid week .
We didn't know there were steam,sauna and ice room as this wasn't explained or pointed out.
Before our 6 to 8pm appt we went in and asked about the food in the cafe we were shown the menu which seemed very limited and expected to see some healthy options, so we went to a local restaurant, so missed opportunity for Thermae .
The changing rooms was a maze and lots of towels and robes left on the floor as we entered ,lots of puddles on the floor which could be slip hazard .
We were told to leave by 8.15 so had to get out of pool at 7.45 although we had long enough .
There were an older couple in the lazy river area ,getting off on the water jets making erotic faces at each other and a lot of intimacy between couples .
Overall enjoyable ,but apart from uniqueness of the roof pool ,I didn't feel it was luxury .
I wasn't offered any packages when I booked on the phone ,just what I asked about the roof pool and for only a little more I could have had food ,drink and treatment .

What a beautiful spa to spend a few hours at- reservations were not required, however, in busier seasons, I would recommend booking in advance. The rooftop pool had nice views but my favourite was the sauna rooms- in particular, the celestial room. I felt totally relaxed by the time I left. 2hours was long enough to enjoy all the amenities offered

Love this place, set over a few levels there are various steam and sauna rooms, I personally loved the botanical one that had a slight smell of herbs in the steam. There is also two heated mineral spa pools, one on the bottom floor but the jewel in the crown is the rooftop thermal mineral spa pool ...... absolutely amazing. Would be 5 stars but gets very busy

Absolute relaxation and wonderful peaceful atmosphere. The facilities are great with 3 sauna rooms (including 1 infrared room), 1 ice room and one relaxation room. One indoor pool, and one rooftop pool. I went during the weekend and it was very busy but I still managed to relax, swim and enjoy all facilities. Changing rooms are on the upper ground floor, lockers are provided, and there is a no phone policy which was awesome. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The place was super clean everywhere.
