I visited for the first time today and met the lovely Terry who owns the shop. The name might be deceiving you to thinking it's nothing about fabric but she does have quite a bit but you have to ask and she'll show you the bolts and layer cakes and jelly rolls etc. It's all squashed in amongst all the creativity in there. There was a group of ladies knitting during my visit.
Support local to keep such places open or they'll vanish and then you'll wonder how it happened!

Had a crochet lesson with Terri last night with my friend. Terri was very patient with us and it was much easier than trying to learn watching Youtube videos. We came away feeling very accomplished having learnt a chain, treble stitch and a granny square. Everyone was very friendly and nice and it was a very enjoyable evening spent in the Yarn Barn. We will definitely be returning for our next lesson. X

My first time in this delightful little shop, the lady is so friendly and knowledgeable. Lots going on from knit and natter to sewing machine lessons. The array of wool is lovely, colours, textures, thickness. Thank you so much for giving my mother in law and myself so much information and having a lovely chat. Xx

My daughter had a brilliant crochet lesson at the Yarn Barn. Terry spent a couple of hours going over the basics and starting her off on a couple of projects. The shop also inspired me to start a project I have been thinking about for some time. Would recommend!

Very friendly and helpful - I attended a class/ workshop and got some very helpful advice / tips to complete a soft toy I'm making. There's a good range of knitting yarns and fabrics if you sew. Loved it

We contacted the shop asking if they knew anybody who could make a Brownie doll with 1980s style uniform. Super service. The owner responded that she had found somebody to do this, and the result is perfect! Fabulous service and this will make somebody very happy. Thank you.
