I've been here a couple of times now and last time I took an older daughter. The team is welcoming and will put you at ease. I have thick wavy hair and I've always had a wash cut and restyle and leave feeling happy with the cut/style and the service provided.

I had to cancel last minute 2 appointments, then Amy rudely told me if I don't turn up to pay early for my 3rd appointment, they will cxl it. I agreed and I said I'll see what I will do. I didn't want to argue so I just let them cancel it. Meanwhile, I called to check for an additional appointment my son had and she told me that she will cancel his appointment as I didn't come to pay early for my own appointment that was meant to be in 3 days (which i was not oblige to honour it anymore). The 2 appointments were not related, I didn't want actually to go to her anymore for myself but my son had no fault.Very unprofessional. I don't recommend it. This is how a 5* turns to 1*. The only nice person there is the gentleman who does the hair, very friendly !

Had a lovely experience today at The works , went in with over bleach hair that I have done at home for years , then Leah and Anthony done their magic , made me feel at ease , had a consultation about cour and style . Helped me pick new colours , then I came out feeling much better and my hair is now amazingly looking great condition! They gave me aftercare advise and have booked in for my next visit too , THANKYOU for all your help today .

I went today as a model for one of the trainees. The colour and cut is spot on and her customer service was spot on. She was mentored throughout and although I was wary of going as a model I won’t hesitate to let her practice on me again. The ambience in the salon is relaxing and everyone there is friendly and welcoming

Just left after a wash cut and blow dry feeling amazing- all the staff were lovely and chatty, beautiful atmosphere, super reasonable price, top range products and my hair cut was exactly they way I wanted if not better!!. Would recommend to anyone and everyone and I’ll 100% be using again. Thanks gals ❤️

I loved the ambience and service from most of the staff, unfortunately I left with the worst haircut I ever gotten.
I did show her a picture but when she finished it looked nothing like it. I was clearly unhappy and told her, she tried to make adjustments but after a few minutes she lost interest, charged me 75 pounds and sent me on my way.
I then have to make an appointment with another hairdresser to try to fix it (another 30 pounds wasted) but she had cut it too short and there wasn't much to be done. I'll have to wear a hat for a while.
