Fabulous little shop, full of quality products and the owners and staff are always welcoming and friendly. I've only ever had a giggle and lovely chat in here, whether purchasing fabric, yarn or attending workshops. I'm a beginner with sewing and Dagmar's patience helped me to complete the Bag Making workshop so I have my own unique bag. Highly recommended!

I have been attending sewing classes with Dagmar at The Fabric Vault for a few months now. Started with Getting to know your sewing machine, and have now after sewing and making many items am embarking on pj bottoms. Dagmar is very knowledgable, very patient and great fun. I would highly recommend her wide variety of classes.

Brilliant place so helpful, thanks John and Dagmar. I have previously purchased material for cushon covers, turned out well. Had some material left over and made a japanese knot bag with the addition of a fat quater in an orange colour, really pleased with result.
Also with different material have made an kitchen apron with enough left to cover my ironing board.

Lovely shop with a lovely owner with some great sewing machines on display! He was also knowledgable about what kind of fabrics I might need and recommended some. Lots of materials available, and a very neat organised store! The prices were reasonable too and they even have 20% off this weekend. Lots of buttons, threads, supplies, materials, felt, all your needs for sewing! Contactless is available here. Thank you, I'll definieitly be back

Disappointing visit to The Fabric Vault. The first words spoken to us were ‘I’ll have to take my coat off. I’ll have to close soon’. A change of staff was happening.
The item was out of stock. Felt rushed.
A rude assistant and lacking in good customer service.
Will not return. There is a much better sewing shop in Lichfield.

What a wonderful shop
The owners are so friendly and helpful and shop is full of gorgeous fabrics for quilters and dress makers alike together with all the notions you will ever need. Can't wait for my next visit
