Very expensive but very beautiful fabric. The staff were so helpful and friendly we were here for absolutely ages! Will definitely be going again. The cafe is adorable too definitely worth a visit for at least a cup of tea.

Just completed an intermediate dressmaking course with Anna. I learnt so much despite having been sewing on and off since my teens (a long time ago!). Anna is a great teacher, very patient and knowledgeable. She has a relaxed style and easily adapts to different levels of sewing knowledge. Her shop is stacked with a great selection of fabrics and haberdashery. I never come home without finding something I can’t possibly live without! She sells yummy cakes and drinks too.

I traveled 45mins with my husband to visit and was very underwhelmed.

The website pictures are very misleading, shows a big space with all kinds of products.
On arrival the was a very small, new build.
Although there are a few products, there really isn’t much to get you exited about making the long journey for.
It’s ok if you are local and need to pop in for something you may need to finish off a project, but that’s probably about it.

We went with the intention of bagging a nice haul, but left with a tube of glue and a pack of buttons.

Unfortunately we will not be returning

A lovely and underrated little cafe. They provide excellent service and excellent food and healthy options. The staff are amazing and do nothing but help and do everything they can to assist. the food, especially shine and even come with little touches such as chutney on the side. However it's also an excellent shop for all craft lovers, they have hundred of different fabrics and buttons for you to peruse, all are very unique and you could easily get lost in the mass of fabrics.

Absolutely love the new shop, bright, light, with the same extensive range. Great sofa (aka man crèche) for enjoying coffee and cake. The classroom is a beautiful space flooded with natural light, Thursday evening sewing club will be even more inspiring; can't wait !
