I visited The Elysium Spa yesterday for the first time and had booked in for a Japanese Head Spa Treatment, which was an hour long with Macy.
I was welcomed into the salon by Laura the owner, who is so bubbly and welcoming and very friendly!
Macy took me into the treatment room and explained what to do and gave me sufficient time to get changed and ready for my treatment.

At first I wasn’t sure if an hour would feel enough, but it is actually the perfect amount of time.
The room felt calm and peaceful, the music was at the perfect level and the bed was lovely and warm! I couldn’t have asked for a more tranquil setting!

I went in with very tense shoulders and as soon as the head spa began, I instantly felt relaxed. The treatment physically gave me goosebumps and I couldn’t fault any part of it.
It was such a professional massage / head spa and I was given the choice as to whether I wanted a hand and arm massage, or a foot massage which I thought was fab being given the choice!

I opted for the hand and arm massage and I find it helped to relieve some tension from my neck & shoulder area.

It was literally the gift that kept on giving.
There were different parts of the head spa, which I loved as there were bits I wouldn’t have expected but in a good way!
Especially the contrast of the cold roller balls! They were great as it made my face feel rejuvenated.

The scents of all the products used were out of this world! Absolutely unreal! Just the smell of them made me feel super relaxed too!

Macy is extremely professional and more than amazing at her job! She is a credit to the team at The Elysium Spa!
The pressure of the water from the head spa was perfect and it was everything and more I could’ve wanted in a treatment.

I was kindly given water at the end to rehydrate and asked how the treatment went, which shows the team care!

I would 100% recommend this treatment and all of the ladies there are just amazing!

Oh wow, this whole treatment felt heavenly from start to finish! I wasn't expecting it to be as relaxing as it was, with it being to improve the health of the scalp, but it definitely was. It included a foot and a hand/arm massage, which were wonderful. A huge surprise was seeing the difference to my scalp before and after the treatment, via the microscope used. I don't have terrible issues with my scalp but I wanted to compare this treatment to the Japanese head spa treatment, which I've previously had and enjoyed immensely. I found this scalp treatment to be equally as pampering, but with the added benefit that it has improved the condition of my scalp (demonstrated by the images captured). I loved the fresh scents of the products used too (citrus and mint I think). I left feeling like I'd had a good pampering and treat and like I had also done something to improve the condition of my scalp and hair too i.e. two birds, one arrow! I will definitely book this again.

I was asked to be a case study for my Sister Abby for the scalp detox. Knowing I have struggled with my scalp since being very young she wanted to see what I would think about the treatment and what results I was likely to get.
I have an itchy scalp, which itches constantly and gets easily irritated with products, I find I’m changing shampoos all the time to see if I can get any relief and I don’t.
I had the treatment over a week ago and can honestly say my scalp has not itched once. I could clearly see with the microscope on my scalp that it was red and inflamed, I also saw bits of metal on my scalp from the environment I work in (I’m a mechanic). When we rescoped after the treatment everything had gone, and my scalp looked and felt squeaky clean. I purchased the scalp wellness remedy kit and will use this at home too. I would definitely recommend this treatment and I will be having it again if the itch does come back.

Scalp Detox Experience – Highly Recommended!

I have suffered from Dermatitis for 5 years and I suffer from many issues because of it etc, soreness, itching, flaky scalp and even hair loss.

I recently tried a scalp detox, and I couldn’t be more impressed. From start to finish, the experience was incredibly satisfying. The treatment left my scalp feeling refreshed and truly squeaky clean. It’s amazing how something as simple as a detox can make such a difference—my scalp feels lighter, healthier, and free of buildup.

The entire process was relaxing and thorough, and I could tell that the treatment was designed to address every need. Afterward, I noticed an immediate improvement in the overall health of my scalp and hair.

AMAZING!!! I can't tell you how much this scalp detox treatment has exceeded my expectations.

This treatment will be tailor-made for your needs. I personally suffered from an itchy flakey scalp & i can't put into words the irritation it caused me throughout day/night. After trying a number of products, i was lucky enough to be a modle and OH WOW!!!! My scalp feels fresh, free and not an itch or flake in sight (STILL!).

My personal favourite part about this treatment was seeing an instant before and after right in front of your very own eyes (live microsope images). Along with other factors the experiance was unreal aswell as being relaxing.

Although I won't need to go back for a while, this is something I'll be continuing on my itch free scalp journey. I Cannot recommend enough.

I've been lucky enough to have been using Lisa's beauty services at the Elysium for several years. She is talented, warm and meticulous in her work and I wouldn't want to use anyone else. Aside from that, a huge additional thanks for agreeing to come over and do such an amazing job of our hair and make up for my wedding last week. It was a very small, intimate wedding but with no shortage of glamour thanks to Lisa who did us all proud. Superstar!! xxx
