Gronia is really experience in braiding. She's been braiding for 6 years. My braids still look neat and intact and it's been 7 days so far. I first thought it was a bit expensive for four braids that took 20 minutes but the end result is brilliant. Gronia even manage to catch my baby hairs. You always will know a good braid when it stays meat and in tact for over 7 days plus. When you're washing your hair.. Make a lot of shampoo suds and pat it into your braids.. Rinse out and than repeat with the conditioner. Sleep with a silk cap..I will be returning again and I'll only have Gronia braiding my hair.

I only had 1 full day available in London and needed to get my hair braided before my summer holiday. They were able to schedule for the braider to do my hair in my hotel room!!

Ella was my main contract through emails and was very quick in responding. You are able to supply photos of your hair, describe what some you want and pay through PayPal which was perfect for me so I did not have to get cash in pounds when I only use Euros & American Dollars.

Chrissy was my braider - INCREDIBLE!!! Arrived 5 minutes early and has a great personality. I needed extensions in my hair and she arrived with 2 didn’t packs of hair. One Straight and the other Kinky. I choice kinky and the requests of my Knotless Braids is fantastic. If I’m ever in London again and need my hair braider this is the way to go.

I brought my daughter to Selfridges for a make over for her birthday on Monday. We had an unexpected hour spare to approached the Beauty counter and asked I there were any spare Braid Bar appointments. A lovely lady called Erica helped us and said there was a space. She wished my daughter a happy birthday and showed u where to go. A lovely young girl (long dark blonde hair) sat my daughter down and was interacting with her lovely, showing her styles and helped her choose. She then went to start on her hair when another girl approached. She didn't introduce herself she simply walked over, took the comb from her colleagues hand and started undoing my daughters hair. Very rude to start with. She had dark hair and was also rather young. She then said "Oh babe we cant braid dirty hair". as she held her hair awkwardly half out of he hair band, looking at me with a smug look on her face as though she didn't want to be three regardless. My daughter (12 years old) was so embarrassed. I asked if she could still do it, we don't mind the result and pointed out that it was only one day of not washing - hardly dirty. The girl was uninterested and I then decided I didn't want her doing my girls hair regardless. Every one in the store that day made us feel welcome and treated my daughter with the most amazing service. What shame that this staff member (who clearly would rather be else where)

It was my first time at the braid bar and I absolutely love it. The girls are fast and professional. I have curtly hair, so not very easy to work with, but the girl who did my braids was awesome. The only thing I would say is that the prices aren’t very clear. My braids were slightly different from the styles they had displayed on the menu and although it only took 25 minutes to have them done, I was charged 45£. I was told I had to pay more, because I booked for 45 minutes... in doubt, book for 25/30 min.

Not great. The woman who came to my house to do two french braids was lovely but she didn't even do a straight parting. The end result was below average not worth £40.

For a braid bar they don’t have as many options as they should. Some of us want simpler styles, not every day is a festival. Staff’s customer service is lacking on various levels. Whether you make an appointment or not (did both), you never really leave this place feeling fully satisfied with the service. I’ve had one employee displaying lazy behaviour when asked to do a very simple style of 6 straight braids, being told that the maximum they do is 4 and having to choose from the styles in their catalogue just put me off. And there was one girl working there who told me after my last appointment that next time I come she will happily do the 6 braids style. Unfortunately she wasn’t there when I last visited.
Word of advice, take your hair and money somewhere else, like Topshop’s braid bar. They always accommodate your needs even if you want something that is not in their display.

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE< i booked an appointment for 15min (only other options wer 30-45-60min) but i knew the style i wanted was 20min. I wrote specifically in the COMMENT area of the booking page that i wanted the 20min style. the hair stylist would not do the addson because according to the website it take 20min and i had booked a 15min appointment. she coulndt give a f. and clearly told me that if i didnt want it, i could just leave... Nice. thanks. no i want a braid. with add ons. i have short hair im sure 15min are enough ? no no no. Ok well guess what she was done in 3min without the adds on. i am never giving them my money again
