Lovely garden centre with a huge range of plants and accessories, at reasonable prices, was really spoilt for choice! Had a mixed experience with the staff, however. One team member really took the time to give me plenty of options and helpful advice for what I wanted, however another told me “I don’t know what to tell you, you should know better” when I told her I didn’t know the soil type of the home I just moved into, which was quite discouraging. The team do seem very knowledgeable on the whole though so hopefully this is just an isolated incident

Great little garden centre, they usually have a good range of plants and the staff members polite and knowledgeable. The prices are over the medium line, but many plants are in bigger containers, from 5 L up. Also, they have nice glazed ceramic pots for outdoor £15 - 100, and the compost bags, 50L size, are around £11.

Read to the end! Before it gets any later in 2025, I wanted to thank the team at Boma for (basically) saving Christmas 2024!

This Christmas, we opted for a Fraser fir over a Nordmann fir, and as always, ordered from Boma for the tree to be delivered to our place. It arrived but seemed to be dropping quite a lot of needles. We emailed the team at Boma and sent some photos, and they advised us to just keep an eye on things (admittedly, the tree didn't look bad, but you couldn't touch it without dozens of needles dropping).

After about a week, we decided something was wrong. I emailed the team again with some fresh pictures, and they were SO helpful. They called me back almost immediately and, long story short, arranged for the tree to be swapped out within 24 hours (which was basically only because they couldn't do it within 12 hours!). They assured me the replacement tree would be fresh and watered just before delivery, and when it arrived, it was just as beautiful and gave us a full Christmas season with normal watering and care.

I kept meaning to email the team about this, but wanted to make sure they got the public credit they were owed for handling this so wonderfully. Thank you! 🎄

My favourite garden centre in London! The atmosphere is wonderful, there are often four legged friends around, the staff have almost always been warm and welcoming and the amount they have is great!

Prices are fair and in my experience the same as far larger stores so it’s great to support this place.

I’m not super local but always happy to go out of my way to come here when in need, even just to have a little wonder around to find inspiration.

Unfortunately the pond in the back has gone and I wonder what happened to the fish.

This place is just lovely.

I’ve should have come here so much earlier and haven’t been able to stop going. I know this is going to be an expensive hobby, but my home is now beginning to become a small jungle.

Staff are knowledgeable and patient with newbies like me who have brown fingers and many questions, but going on 3 weeks and all my plants are thriving.. what do you know, don’t water them too much (I did start with hard-to-kill plants though: started with ZZs, some succulents and Pathos. Upgraded to Kentia, Peace Lily and Prayer Plants and seeing how it goes (with lots of YouTube tutorials!!) I just love how my home feels much more alive and how pleasing it is that I can keep these plants alive.

Parking is just across from the entrance, which is very handy. I am so glad this is the first garden centre I went to as my experience has been wonderful.

Beautiful selection of well-kept outdoor plants and nicely displayed. Paid a good price for composts, bedding and herbs! Will come again 🙂
