First time visiting for Sunday lunch. We booked for 2.30pm. We ended up arriving early. The weather was great for our first weekend in months. It was unusually busy and unexpected as understaffed for such an influx of people. We ended up waiting till 3.45pm to be taken to our table. We enjoyed a great Sunday lunch nevertheless. The owners couldn't apologise enough. We would definitely go back. Loved the decor, and the outside gardens. Looking forward to visiting again in the summer months.

Good: A nice restaurant for a birthday celebration. There was a singer for the evening who was good. Very friendly staff. Lots of parking available

Bad: I would say that the food was not good enough for the price we paid. It’s quite a big open space inside which makes it super noisy on a Saturday night. Dessert was underwhelming.

Beautiful setting, amazing atmosphere and the food was just wow so delicious and the service from all the staff was incredible but a massive shout out to our waitress Georgia who just went up & above and just made our very rare evening out incredibly special so a big thank you for us. Will definitely be coming back and can't wait to try the garden setting.

Food is great, lovely Sunday menu with great selection of roasts, service was perfect and the venue is beautiful. Can't wait to see it in the summer as the garden looks equally awesome! Highly recommend 👌🏻

We have just enjoyed a wonderful evening meal at the artisan.
The food was delicious (rump steak and cauliflower steak) .
The service was warm, friendly and welcoming and everything we asked for was delivered with a smile.. nothing was too much trouble.
The restaurant itself is clean and beautifully decorated with a really relaxed, inviting feel.
Thank you for a great evening meal and we will definitely be back.

From the moment you arrive you can’t help but be impressed. From the impressive exterior to the beautiful and quirky interior the venue is aesthetically pleasing. As soon as you walk in the warm and welcoming staff are on hand to cater to your every need. The extensive menu has something for everyone and every dish we ordered was cooked to perfection. I was thoroughly impressed by our first visit and will definitely be returning. I would also highly recommend trying the delicious cocktails in the upstairs bar and lounge after eating. All in all a very nice evening in a very nice venue.

The place looks nice or though it feels like they have tried to cram to many tables in everyone is on top of each other .
The service was shocking it took over an hour for our mains to come out 25 minutes for them to just bring a double whiskey on the rock out then no ice then another 15-20 minutes for other drinks .
The meal has to be the worst rack of lamb I have ever had without a doubt, it was tiny so small that my (new potatoes ) were almost the same size as it then when I cut into it it was mainly fat nothing like the picture they have on instagram and the broccoli was so hard I could barely stab it with my fork the best part was the new potatoes.
And all our food was pre-ordered on booking so it’s not like they didn’t know what we were having.
After complaining about the meal they did kindly take it off the bill .
There is also a ridiculous service charge that I wasn’t aware of at all , if I had been I would of refused to pay it and I recommend others not to pay it as legally don’t have to especially when the service was unbelievably poor.
Definitely won’t be returning !

I had a smashing Dover Sole at dinner. Really was gorgeous. The staff are really trying hard. It's great to see. I have re-visited and the food wasn't quite so good the second time. I hope they can keep up the momentum. I wish them well.
