I had some gel nails done there and they looked great, but after 3 days they started peeling off! I emailed and they were very lovely and said they had no idea why it happened but that they’d redo them. So they did, but then they started peeling even sooner than the previous ones! I emailed again and was told it was “obviously something you’re doing”. I would have accepted an apology but to be told it’s my own fault, despite the fact I’ve been really careful and done absolutely nothing that would cause a gel nail to chip, is just not on. I have friends with more labour intensive jobs than me and they last a minimum of 3 weeks. I can’t tell you why it’s happened, I’m not the nail technician, but I can tell you it is not my fault. The second time they were done I was told I had particularly smooth nails and that it could be why they peeled off, but I would’ve thought you could alter the amount of buffing to compensate. The ends of the nails also weren’t capped very well, maybe that’s it. Whatever the reason, it certainly hasn’t been my fault, I wouldn’t choose to be walking around with chipped nails after only a few days of getting them done!

Tansy did my wedding makeup and my bridesmaids makeup. Tansy stayed with us all morning from 7:30 until 11 she put us all at ease the whole time she was there making us laugh and feel relaxed. Tansy waited patiently while we had our hair done so that she could top up our makeup perfectly after we’d put on our dresses. She even helped with other little jobs while she was there like looking for the Flourist’s car. Our makeup looked fantastic and stayed perfectly all day even after dancing! Would definitely recommend for bridal makeup.

Had one of the best hair colours I’ve ever had at this salon thanks to Eve. She really really listened to what I wanted, and the excecution of it was outstanding. My colour came out identical to what I had showed her I wanted in a photo. It was so complimentary on my skin tone. I really Couldn’t be more pleased with it.

I love Tansy so much. There is a fantastic lady there with long blue hair who is such a good hairdresser. She spends so long making sure everything is right. She chose an Ash blonde with a ashy toner and a few skinny highlights. They came out beautifully and I feel like a new woman. She gave me great advice re care for my hair type and what shampoo, mask and oil to use on it to take it. She cut it too its fabulous!
