I love this shop and like going in just to look at the colours of the yarns on display. This usually ends in a purchase. The staff are amazing, really friendly and knowledgeable and have rescued my projects from my amateur knitting errors.

Good classes to improve skills and regular meet and makes - I mean to go more often.

There are plenty of books and patterns for ideas and a rack of projects knitted by (I assume) the staff for inspiration. A lovely shop that will, hopefully, be here for a long time to come.

A yarn lover’s dreammm! I’ve crocheted 6 projects with yarn from here and I keep coming back because the prices are great and the folks here are so warm and inviting and give the most helpful advice when you share what you’re working on. I’ll be back over and over and over again!

The loveliest yarn shop/haberdashery I've ever visited! All of the staff, without fail, are lovely, friendly and helpful and clearly love crafting themselves!
The whole shop is laid out beautifully, so it's easy to see everything, have a squish of the yarn and choose the perfect colours. There's a great range of products, all fantastic quality and lots are super affordable!
I also did an online class with Slipstitch last tear which was great fun, and gave me so much more confidence with my knitting. I'm really looking forward to doing an in-person class very soon.

Lovely yarn store. A haven! That sofa is very comfortable 🙂 Great range of yarn at every price point, accessories and materials for other crafts too. Rosie is lovely, patient and very knowledgeable. Enjoyable, after hours knitting sessions. I am meant to be using up the stash this year but can't resist popping in to see what's new in the product range. Long live Slipstitch! Jude

A gorgeous shop and such friendly staff! Came here after school for some wool and the lady helped me choose the right wool thickness for my punch needle. So many colours and materials, a cosy shop, and the signs advocating for trans rights are always appreciated. Just a bit expensive, but it is to be expected from an independent and high quality knit store.

Lovely friendly shop and helpful staff. I did the Cardigan Club as I wanted to learn more about knitting in the round. Total convert and really enjoyed the relaxed environment, and the excellent help from Rosie, really pleasant way to spend a Saturday afternoon. And I was then able to complete a jumper knitted in the round without help, so 100% effective course! Other reviewers have said there isn't much stock, but Rosie and her colleagues happy to order, and personally I found plenty of lovely things there.
