I ordered some fabric in the 50% off festive sale. Sherwoods obviously were not geared up for the enthusiastic response, so I’ve been patiently (not) waiting for 8 weeks to receive my parcel of goodies. I have used this company before and been really pleased with quality of the fabrics and the customer service so I was reasonably confident this long established firm would supply my fabric eventually, particularly since they had been sending out emails with updates on their progress. My fabric finally arrived today, and it was worth the wait…lovely designer fabrics at very affordable prices.

I've been waiting over 8 weeks now for an order. So frustrated. I've contacted customer service numerous times to be told that they had been inundated with sale orders but would look into, and prioritise my order. Still nothing. They are a 'small team' and are 'doing their best' with a large amount of sale orders - fair enough but when I asked about how new orders are being prioritised I was informed that if an extra 'priority shipping' charge was paid a new order would be processed in 3 working days. Surely as a business the right thing to do is prioritise patient(!) customers who have been waiting a hugely unreasonable amount of time. Just to add to the frustration - instead of apologies and explanations on social media all I see is the business pushing exciting 'new arrival' fabrics. Grrrrr, sort your priorities out

Ordered 21st Dec, still no sign of my fabric a month later. Appreciate closed for Christmas but we are three weeks into January!! Won't be ordering again.

I ordered some samples on 1st February, it is now the 21st. I have not received my order.
I have tried phoning, it's unobtainable. I have now sent 3 emails that have achieved nothing.
So disappointing.

Only 3 of 9 lengths of fabric have been delivered. Two weeks after I ordered it no response to phone calls haven't answered my urgent email. Have bought fabric from warehouse before in person on been fine but this level of service doesn't even deserve 1 star . I will tell my friends not to order any more fabric on line and between us we have spent several hundred pounds at this company.

Ordered several shirting fabrics from Mexico.
Customer service was great, I contacted them before purchase to know some more details about shipping and they answered in less than 1 day.

I love Sherwood Fabrics. They have such a super range and variety of materials. I have never been disappointed with anything I’ve bought. The quality is excellent and postage is super quick. The Lady McElroy designs are particularly wonderful.
