Ordered a gift from them. When it did not arrive I was told it was not their problem. I paid a whopping sum of 20 euro for postage on my parcel for it to STILL not to have the correct customs decorations and be returned to sender - only they did not have the return address on it so it's sitting in some royal mail depot. Parcel can't be received without the correct forms. Emailed them to let them know and no response received. Stay away, not a professional outlet.

Robinsons has a great selection of shoes, clothes and fancy goods. They provide things which are a bit different from what you can buy in larger towns at reasonable prices.
My friend and I bought some boots and we were really impressed with the friendliness of the staff who patiently provided many different kinds of boots and sizes. It was so helpful to us to be offered impartial advice.

I visited Robinson's recently in a bit of a rush - I had hubby and pooch waiting outside - and I received exemplary service. The staff listened attentively to what I was looking for, and worked together to find me something that was perfect. This is a great store with beautiful merchandise. This shop was excellent. There was a large range of Jellycats to choose from. They were all perfectly placed on shelves and I was informed that they were to be reorganised a day later. There was so many to choose from and I'm a very indecisive person. The staff were super friendly and helpful. They helped me in picking ones out and seeing what they had in stock. They were super friendly. They allowed my friend to do returns and swaps as the range of Jellies were great and my friend couldn't decide. Shortly i shall return and possibly buy yet another Jellycat and have a look at there new display. Overall this was more than 5 stars 🌟. Fabulous and would definitely recommend!!

An absolute gem of a shop. Beautifully laid out. A pleasure to browse in. Great choice of clothing. And the Jelly cat range is fabulous. Staff extremely helpful and friendly. Bought a jumper could have spent a small fortune. The clothes are displayed beautifully. Will most definitely be visiting again.

Order arrived over a month late outside the store's 'shipping' policies. When reaching out to the store to request a cancellation of the order given that the products did not arrive within the time frame provided on the site, they said they'd only do it after receiving the items back. I no longer resided in that address and this was mortifying and they refused to help me. Fortunately, customs reached out to me to choose if I would pay the (ridiculously high) import fees or refuse delivery. I refused delivery. The store issued a refund for the products but not for shipping. I reached out to them about this, as shipping was NOT cheap and I never heard back from them.

NOTE TO MERCHANT: Be upfront and fair about your shipping policies. If it's going to take longer than expected to ship internationally, be upfront about this. Also mention that import fees might be applied internationally, as I would've waited to be back home to place my order vs paying such ridiculous fees. Do not EVER hold a customer responsible for shipping when you are the one who's responsible that they receive their order within the timeframe YOU set up on your site.

What a wonderful find in the heart of Alnwick. The staff were lovely, very polite and attentive without being too much. You can browse at your leisure without any pressure. The clothing range was great with so much to choose from. A perfect tonic away from the high street mass produced, repetitive lines. Robinson's are a superb example of a great independent shop. I wish I lived nearer.
