They have a huge selection of beautiful fabrics and so much cheaper if you’re making blinds and curtains or reupholstering furniture. Many designer fabrics. Only rated 3 stars as it wasn't quite what I was looking for, but there is a huge variety of fabrics. More suited towards upholstery (curtains, cushion covers, etc.), as the fabrics are quite thick and textured, and patterns are a little dated

Beautiful shop, absolutely full of lovely fabrics that you can view on the roll (not just tiny swatches which can be hard to envisage in larger pieces). I had heard before visiting that I'd likely want/need to spend a while in there as there's so much to look at, and that advice was accurate. I appreciated that I was given space and time to browse, but I was attended to efficiently when I needed help. I made a purchase I'm really happy with, a really good quality fabric for a reasonable price. I'm confident that it will wear well and it looks amazing. Will certainly visit again when need arises.

Amazing range do go. This is a one off experience and not usual I am sure but there were the most obnoxious customers in there demanding all the attention with a paint tray matching to their fabric requirements obviously a big sale the rest of us did not exist at all my £40 spend small compared to the sale to come could not move they were just everywhere. I had waited a long time to return to the shop the fabric is amazing.

I am so impressed with Painswick Fabrics. We recently moved into a new house and I used them exclusively for my curtaining. Then in lockdown I needed material for two bed valences. I spoke to Tim and gave him an idea of the decor in the rooms. He sent me about six choices - two of which were perfect. I ordered and paid for them by phone and the material was delivered today. Excellent service!
