I attended an asymmetric wicker basket workshop and thoroughly enjoyed it! The day flew by and I am so proud of the basket I made. Mark, the instructor, was very patient and explained the steps clearly. The whole day was amazing value for money and I would recommend it to anyone interested in having a go at a new craft. 🙂

My wife & I attended a 'random star' making course. This was a first for me. However, my wife had been before on a basket making course, which she loved. To begin with, my star looked a little & at times, a lot like a scarecrow. However, after some encouragement from Mark, it statred to take shape, still not like a star. We'll definitely be back. Thank you for a lovely afternoon !

My mum attended the obelisk course this morning, I had booked it for her as a gift and she was very much looking forward to the morning.

I was disappointed to hear her thoughts after the course. Notably that the course finished at nearly half the advertised time.

I raised this with Mark privately after the course and was met with an incredibly rude and abrupt response. It seems as long as the attendee leaves with the advertised object the creative process and experience on the day is an afterthought.

I ordered a white willow heart with lights for my window, wasn’t sure what to expect but I was absolutely delighted with the design, the quality, the quick delivery and excellent communication from Mark.
So much so that I immediately ordered more for family and friends.

A lovely group of people had a most enjoyable day at Arthington village hall today, learning how to make a garden trug at the Out of the woods workshop.
Mark is a great teacher, we all had a good day out and proudly went home with a lovely trug that will be used for years to come.
I highly recommend this company and will definitely be signing up again in the future on a different workshop.

I'm a fairly confident person but turning up for this class on my own during self distancing rules, was a big mistake. I was sat at the end of the room and more or less ignored. I struggled and in the end, Mark just made my basket. This is the only course I've ever been on where I felt like walking out half way through.
Perhaps if I'd gone with a friend and we had been sat more central, things would of been better.

The willow bird feeder course was fantastic, thoroughly enjoyable and great as an intro to weaving. Chuffed that I managed to come out of it with something actually resembling the picture on the website!
Mark teaches at a good pace, very patient & makes sure everyone is well seen to, would love to do more, definitely got the weaving bug.

We got a really lovely wreath for Out of the Woods which looks lovely on our door! It’s really tastefully decorated and well made. Look forward to buying exploring the goods more and buying more from Out of the Woods in the future.
