Quaint little shopping village with some interesting boutique outlets. Some currently closed due to the recent flooding. Good Christmas shop with all the usual bits and pieces, got a few nice beers ready for the festive season. Nice cafe on site doing the usual hot and cold drinks and snacks at really sensible prices. Definitely recommend a quick stop if in the area.

Wonderful experience at Santa's grotto. After a disappointing experience last year at MK I can’t recommend this place enough! They’re so warm and welcoming towards the children! Great job guys.

Step back in time to emporiums, speciality shops in a Dickensian setting. Pick unusual gifts and try traditional fare. A great way to spend an afternoon just browsing amongst history.

Lots of interesting little shops, kids particularly enjoyed looking for jewelry. Great selection in the Christmas barn.

Cafe: sandwiches and chips looked / smelt great. We bought cakes and 4 hot drinks but the hot drinks took 15 mins to arrive then one was forgotten.

Kids also enjoyed looking at the fish in the large pond.

We have spent a few years seeing Santa here and always had a great experience. This year was ok, not as fun or as magic as previous years and the third year receiving exactly the same gift. My youngest son even said as he opened it 'i hope it's not another magic set, Santa should remember what he has gifted me'. You guessed it! The third year of getting a magic set. The experience isn't cheap and you would think as they know they have returning customers the presents would differ. Due to this it was definitely our last year of visiting at Christmas as I don't think a fourth year of getting another magic set is going to cut it! I've always raved about the experience here and this year was disappointing!

EDIT 3: Despite sporadic emails we are still waiting for the promised replacement gift and letter from Santa (26/1/25).
EDIT 4: Reply to my email chasing them for the gift they said they would send, not one I asked for... An excuse of sickness after one of holiday. A month tomorrow since I emailed and no closer to getting this gift. I have told them not to bother. We will not be coming here again or recommending anyone bother. Magic ruined for my SEN son! Visited last week, and although we couldn't find what we wanted in the main part, our lunch at the cafe was lovely. Nice to see the same owner that we saw a year ago.It was a busy lunch when we arrived, tables were spotless,staff continually clearing and cleaning. Food came out quickly and was hot and plentiful. A special call out to Carl who was helpful and always smiling 😊 it's nice to see friendly staff who take pride in their job. Will be back....

Had an afternoon tea with a group of friends today at the restaurant. The drinks were lovely and the sandwiches and bakeries were freshly made. Visited the garden shop as well as the gift shops. We all had a wonderful time. Would recommend.
