It’s been a while since I last went into a salon to have my hair done and WOW I am so glad I did!

I had a full colour and cut by Alyssa who made the whole experience perfect 🤩

All the team at Obsessive Hair are welcoming and go above & beyond to create such a calm and friendly vibe - I would 100% recommend 🙌

Amazing!
I came in for colour and maintenance of my extensions with the fabulous and talented Charlotte.
I had left my hair a little longer than I should to get this done (last don’t August🤦🏼‍♀️) my thought to be holiday ready.
Not to self not to leave the maintenance as long…
I am absolutely over the moon with the results and feel more myself.
Thank you Charlotte and team obsessive hair for always doing great job and being so attentive and welcoming.

I went in with the request to have my hair bleached and coloured bright blue.
The hairdresser said she had never done this before, but was confident she could achieve it.
She set about bleaching it to remove the previous colour, all good so far.
My hair was yellow at this point. And then added a blue dye.
My hair came out this weird grey, blue, brown colour. It was patchy.
At this point it was decided to bleach my hair again. I’ve got very fine hair, so I did check to see if that was actually going to be ok without wrecking it. She was confident that it would.
My hair came out orange, which actually wasn’t so bad. I like crazy hair colours.
Next step was the root smudge. Never heard of it, but that’s what was suggested. I now had square roots. Looked awful.
At this point I’ve been in there for 7 hours!!!
They wanted to tone the bleached parts of my hair, but my scalp was on fire and I didn’t want to be there anymore.
Stupidly paid for the mess on my head.

Fast forward to now. My hair is horrendous. Can’t get a brush through it as it just matts. I’ve had another hairdresser cut off the damaged hair. There still loads that needs to be cut, but I’m not going that short, so having to live with it for now.

I contacted the salon who told me that the hairdresser told me “My expectations weren’t possible”. Why would I have gone ahead with it if someone had said that?! Own your mistake, apologise and I probably wouldn’t have left this review. I’ve had blue hair before, done by Halo hairdressers, so it is possible. Just not by this salon.

After using permanent black box dye on my hair for YEARS, I wanted a change. I went to a different hair salon in August who didn’t listen to what I wanted a did a bit of a botched job. I came to Obsessive Hair and explained to Keeleigh what I wanted (I’m a bit of a fusspot) and oh my days I couldn’t be happier, she was perfect! All the team went above and beyond to make sure my experience was great. I cannot rate this salon highly enough. Thank you! Xxxxx

I had a disappointing experience at this hair salon. They quoted me for an air touch hair coloring method and took a deposit of half the treatment's cost. However, when I arrived for my appointment, I found out that they do not offer this method. They apologized and suggested I find another place to get the treatment done, promising a refund for the deposit.

Additionally, the young hairdresser who was supposed to attend to me did not even know what the air touch method was, and I had to explain it to her. They explained that the information wasn't clear to them. In that case, I don't understand why they quoted me for something they weren't sure about and didn't seek clarification on. I would not recommend this salon, as my appointment was a complete waste of time.

They also have lovely people skills which is why their customers return again and again.
