This shop, and Dawn, are a hidden treasure that selfishly I wish I could keep to myself! The shop is a treasure trove of fabulous fabrics and a good selection of yarn. Dawn is friendly and so knowledgeable. I took her beginner sewing course as a way of meeting a small group and was immediately made to feel comfortable and included. The pace of the course was good, with everyone given individual attention. I will definitely sign up for further courses, along with the monthly social crafting evening.

I came across Mimi and Bee on google and decided to take a trip the same day.
Well I absolutely loved my 1hr30min visit such a warm welcome from Michelle, Dawns staff and her Saturday young lady.
Michelle was so helpful in choosing my fabric and getting it just right for my project.
I couldn’t get over what a nice environment, beautiful workshop layout, plenty of room and so clean.
The choice of fabrics for me was outstanding and all the trimmings.
Dawn was really lovely and I will definitely be back for my next project material.
Oh and I even treated myself to a gorgeous bag Michelle had made.

What a wonderful visit! I only went in for a “little look” and came out an hour later with enough cotton batting for a king size quilt, lots of interesting sewing accessories, some fat quarters and a lot of inspiration! Also looking forward to signing up for some workshops later in the year. The owner is such a lovely woman!

I don’t usually leave reviews but we were so in awe of the amazing service at Mimi and Bee I wanted to say a huge thank you. I ordered the fabric yesterday and it arrived in the most beautiful packaging this morning. It’s for my daughter’s school project and she was thrilled with the fabric and loved unwrapping it from the beautiful tissue paper and Ribbon. The care and detail you have put into something that others would have just shoved in a Jiffy bag is amazing and, as my daughter says we will get all our fabric from you in the future. Thank you 🥰
