On visiting Michael Baileys shop we received a warm welcome. Michael is extremely engaging with a wonderful eye for fashion and a weath of knowledge on how a lady should be dressed for that special occasion or simply looking for those perfect staples for your wardrobe. His attention to detail was just perfect and clearly understood the brief right down to coordinating the most beautiful shoes for the most beautiful dress that we purchased for our wedding. We would like to extend our thanks to Michael and his lovely assisant.Continued success Michael with all that you do. You are truly a great find.

Not being a slim person I was concerned i would not find an outfit and i was worried about being judged.
I was made to feel amazing during my appointment. I absolutly lovedy outfit and matching hatinator.

I would give this place a ZERO STAR if I could. I drove from MK at the end of a v busy day in time to be in the shop for the last 40mins before end of day. Unfortunately I did not find anything I wanted as they did not stock my favourite brands. The older Asian guy with clear rim spectacles was incredibly rude to me. He advised me he was upset he had come back in to the shop for me but I was “obviously not there to buy”! He advised me I was rude for speaking to my sister whilst in the dressing room changing. His assistant an older Caucasian woman with lots of red lippy was also condescending and both took it upon themselves to tell me they had stayed longer for me and they felt I was rude! I left the store at 5.25pm the shop was supposed to shut at 5.30pm! How did they stay longer for me! Surely they were going to be paid to be there till 5.30pm! As a woman of colour, I felt racially discriminated and so badly treated I would not be going back to this shop or recommending it to anyone! They have the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! I have never felt so talked down on! I wish I had not water my time and effort. I graciously apologised when he said I was rude but he kept on after that saying he was so upset that he came back to the shop as he thought I was a genuine customer! Even if I wanted to buy I would have just left without anything as the two were the worst!

Wouldn’t be every using this place again! Not only did the owner make inappropriate comments but the amount of pressure selling was shocking! Wanted a dress for a wedding and was pressured sold items that have labels in saying they are display items. Items were put in my bag I said I didn’t want and out through the till with out my knowledge as they begged the items up when I was in the fitting rooms. This shop prays on vulnerable people and also don’t tell you that you can’t return items for the price you paid if you get home and done like them. You can only get shop credit . It’s a customers prerogative to change their minds but as they don’t tell you, you can’t return items before you purchase them. Trapping you into a sale. Avoid this shop at all costs! The must have had the till ringing in their ears seeing me walk through the door! Putting thing in my shopping bag behind my back is the lowest form of selling I know!

Was blown away by the service and level of knowledge by Michael today. Michael picked out a number of outfits for me to try but was absolutely certain that the first one I tried would be the one and how right he was. His eye for knowing what will suit someone is outstanding and I came away from the shop on cloud nine with a dress, hat, shoes and a bag for my son's wedding. I now can't wait to wear it all! Huge thanks to everyone at Michael Bailey for making this such an amazing experience.

What a kind man. After my mums mother of the bride dress being ruined by a tailors at home I gave Michael a call to see if he had a certain dress in stock. Michael went above and beyond he checked his stock but he also checked for the dress in stock elsewhere. When the dress was sold out Michael even checked to see if there were any of the original dress my mum had bought in stock anywhere. He also suggested some other dresses my mum might like. Such a helpful and kind service. Thank you so much for helping us in our hour of need!

Wouldn’t recommend , staff need to smile more first of all !
Bought a dress and jacket £750 , dress altered , Jacket should have been too but that was not offered . When I picked up the dress it was just handed to me and I put it on at home and it was still too big , should really have tried it on in the shop while I was there. I did not feel free to ask to try the dress on before I left the shop or take it back when it was still too big .
I felt judged and uncomfortable here.
The jacket was far too big and I didn’t actually wear it with the dress .

I won't be going in there again!!! I walked in and the sales assistant's first question on seeing me was "what size are you?" Then a sniff ... And then "we only have one sale dress in your size" .... Complete with disdain and looking down her nose. I felt like Julia Roberts at the dress shop in Pretty Woman and I'm a 16 ... Not exactly huge!!! Should have listened to my children when they told me I was too fat to go in there
