So as someone who actually has a relative here and isn't just going on "what they've heard" I can tell you the the staff here are amazing. The residents are well cared for. My brother is safe, warm, well fed and has enough activities to keep him more than entertained. The staff take such good care of him and he is extremely happy. So who cares if the entrance is pretty, I'm sure HFT have better stuff to spend money on than satisfying the locals who don't even know anyone living here. The most important thing is the level of care and thats the only thing that should be rated. And no one except people who actually have relatives here is qualified to rate how "happy" the residents are.

The approach to the complex looks rundown, gates to stop people straying inoperative. From what I've heard not the happy environment that once thrived here that's not referring to the Covid 19 situation which the carers ("foot soldiers") seem to be managing admirably.
