Didn't realise that we needed an appointment at first but Margaret saw us anyway and was beyond helpful.

I'm making the bridesmaids dresses for my wedding next year and wanted a fairly closely matched duchess satin and chiffon. Margaret not only helped me pick the right type and colour material but she also helped my mom select a complementary colour for the dress she is making.

Absolutely 10 out of 10 and will definitely be BOOKING AN APPOINTMENT to go again for my next sewing project.

My mum made my wedding and evening dresses with material bought from Harrington Lace. They have been so helpful from start to finish and gave my mum lots of good advice about the materials but also recommended linings to use with them.

I absolutely love the material for both dresses. One was a duchess silk which felt beautiful and the other was an ivory brocade which was so unique. I have had so many lovely comments about the two different materials and dresses.

I would recommend Harrington Lace to anyone and would give them five stars ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️.

Margaret helped my mum and I with some last minute material to make some ‘sleeves’ for my wedding dress in September. She spent time making sure we had just the right colour and the value for money was excellent, wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anybody!

What a truly amazing find. I was looking for lace for an outfit for my sons wedding, and found this wonderful place very close to where I live. I cannot praise Margaret enough for her knowledge of the stock they carry and the service I received was outstanding. She listened to what I was looking for, matched fabrics together and checked against my skin tone, both in artificial and natural light.

Margaret made my feel so welcome, she is such a lovely genuine person. The quality of the Lace, Silk and the other material I ordered is amazing.

I'd looked at other sites before finding Harrington, and they would only send samples. It was lovely to be able to compare colours and feel the fabric.

In fact I shed a tear when we finally settled on the ones I wanted.

What a brilliant experience. After checking out fabrics I rang to ask advice and got first class help and advice. I had full confidence I would get what I needed to make a ball gown for a family member.
After receiving samples I went ahead and ordered over the phone. I was able to order all the fabrics I needed . Two days later my beautiful Red Duchess satin and static free lining fabric and interfacing.
So happy and delighted with the amazing personal service, quick delivery and most of the the quality of the fabrics at very reasonable prices. Thank you so much. Now to cutting it.😊

Made an appointment with my mum as she is making my wedding dress. We both thought the service was excellent! We explained/showed what we were aiming for and were immediately understood and presented with the best choices. We were even shown the fabrics against my skin tone in daylight so we could decide which suited best. The fabrics themselves are wonderful, and also reasonably priced (according to mum!), especially considering the level of service you get. Also got some absolutely beautiful sparkly appliques. Efficient, friendly, and knowledgeable service, would highly recommend.

I visited Margaret last week for a bridal appointment, having come highly recommended from my Mother-in-law to-be. I stumbled across Harrington Fabric and Lace whilst trying to source fabric to make my daughters wedding dress. Initially I requested a couple of samples for fabric I thought may be suitable, however when it arrived I realised the weight was not suitable for the dress I was making. I called the office and spoke to a lovely lady, who looked up the pattern reference I gave her whilst I was on the phone, and together we discussed potentially suitable fabrics. A few days later samples arrived and today I placed the order. Thank you for your help and encouragement.
