I went to Marsha to get 8 stitch cornrows based on her Google reviews. She got down to business quickly with no small talk.

After she started braiding very tightly, I asked her to make it looser but she did not respond sensitively. She simply said “it’s fine” and kept on braiding… It’s not, and I am now considering going to a local braider to redo the first braid to get some relief.

She also used an ELASTIC BAND to tightly tie up part of my hair, after I had already expressed to her that I don’t approve of them. When I pointed this out to her, she asked me take it out myself… I did, and it unsurprisingly pulled out some of my strands.

I expected a bit more listening of my preferences during the service which I don't feel I received.

Marsha did a brilliant job with my hair! My braids were sharp, neat, slick. They lasted me 1 month before needing redoing. Marsha worked quickly and was friendly. I will definitely visit again! She was also very affordable.

Marsha was patient and gentle with my hair and strived to provide me a great experience. My hair was an absolute mess when I showed up at her salon and Marsha
l took her time to detangle, wash, blow dry and braid my hair beautifully. She also gave me tips on how to look after my hair and answered any questions I had. Definitely coming back as she’s a pro at handling natural hair !

Went in today for the first time. I was running late however Marsha was so patient didn’t rush my son’s hair and did them perfectly and was very kind and welcoming. Definitely going to return.

Marsha is such a fantastic hair stylist. She is always so present and I always feel welcome and valued in her salon. I would never go anywhere else to get my hair braided/styled. Not only is she fantastic at doing hair but she is welcoming and the over all experience is 10/10! Strongly and highly recommend!!

such a good experience, will definitely be back! she took her time with my hair and made sure that it was properly cleaned, blow dried, and moisturized. she is so sweet and even gave me some advice regarding some breakage i was experiencing on my edges and how to rectify it! definitely recommend this salon!!
