I never write reviews but Lauralyn 100% deserves this review.

I was looking for a new hairdresser and found Lauralyn in an online article on London's best Black hair salons.

I went along to check out the salon and was impressed by Lauralyn's expertise and advice. I wanted a weave with very good quality hair. Lauralyn went out of her way to source beautiful pervuvian hair for me which she dyed to an exact match to my own hair.

She advised me to go for a completely new look, and I fully trusted her advice. I left the salon feeling like a new woman! I love my new look.

Not only is Lauralyn an expert stylist but her service from start to finish was professional and personalised. She is incredibly warm and friendly too.

I spent years going to lower-end salons where clients are treated like an inconvenience. Spending a little extra at Lauralyn's was the best investment I could have made for my hair. I'm so glad I found Lauralyn!

I was desperately looking for a good hair salon to silk press my natural 4c hair. After no joy i fortunately had a phone call from Lauralyn who had a slot the next day. This was my first silk press experience but I could not be more pleased with the results. I was fortunate enough to have Lauralyn transform my hair. The results were stunning and could enter its own hair commercial 😂.

Writing this review 4 days I can honestly say my hair has got better each day. It is so soft and has not reverted. It is easy to work with and doesn't need to be combed. I absolutely love it and would recommend going there to get a silk press. An added bonus was getting my nails done at the nail bar in the salon saving me so much time.

Lauralyn is truly gifted and loves to use natural products in the hair which is my philosophy. As Lauralyn suggested I can't wait to find out how to make my natural hair curls 'pop' and more manageable on my next visit.

Quality!!

I went for a treatment, trim and silk press. I can whole heartedly say Lauralyn is amazing, great spirit, true specialist in her craft. Excellent customer service from all staff, from initial telephone booking to end of appointment, friendly and welcoming environment. Hair by Lauralyn London has now become my salon! I would highly recommend!

Had my hair done for the first time and it was a truly amazing experience! Lauralyn has a lot of patience when doing my natural hair.

She is such an intelligent woman filled with a lot of passion for hair and will take all the time to ensure you leave her salon happy and fulfilled.

After searching for a afro Caribbean hair stylist I was lucky enough to come across this amazing Salon. I was greated by Shemia the apprentice and she was so warm, welcoming and extremely gentle with my hair and was made to feel so comfortable. Then I met Laurylyn and she was pure happy vibes and gave me some great tips on my hair and how to maintain it. I am very happy to leave my hair in her capable hands and believe my hair will flourish which I cannot wait for. Thanks for a great first visit <3

I did a Silkpress and trim for the first time and I am blown away by the results. My hair looks healthy and bouncy. It feels as light as a feather. The process was also painless considering the fact that my hair is natural. Laura ensured that my hair (thin space density hair) was properly detangled before going in with the dryer ensuring minimal hair fall. The salon is well located and clean and the products smell amazing. The trim was so professional and just enough. I was also given some tips on how to take care of my hair since I come from a different climate. I am looking forward to my hair journey at this salon.

Amazing service. I don't usually leave reviews.. but Lauralyn helped me out at the last minute with a gorgeous silk press... and some eye opening hair (and life!) advice. It truly was remarkable. My silk press lasted almost 3 weeks until I came back home to the Caribbean. When I am back in London.. I know for certain where I'm headed for my hair do! Thank you!

Had the best experience at Hair by Lauralyn! I called her last minute on a Sunday after being let down by another salon and she was so accommodating and I received the best Silk Press treatment I could have imagined. Will definitely be back, you’ve gained a regular customer 🙂
