So helpful buying my wife Christmas gifts - I didn't have a clue! I wanted to buy my wife a bunch of little sewing gifts to make a customer advent calendar, however I know absolutely nothing about sewing... The two people working there on the day were extremely helpful, and helped me select items based on the limited information I could give them. We are at day 18 now on the calendar and the gifts have been really well received! Great shop, and if I'm not back again, my wife definitely will be 🙂

I made my Dawn jeans at the jeans workshop in September with the amazing Becca! I could not be happier with the fit of these; due to a big difference between a small waist and ample bum and thighs ready to wear jeans, particularly non-stretch are impossible to find. The fitting process wasn't smooth sailing but Becca's knowledge, patience and conviction have led to me having a pair of jeans that actually fit. And bonus because I now have an amended pattern that can be used again. The denim is the cone mills selvedge denim from the kit and is unbelievable quality. And I'm so glad I decided to use the selvedge on pocket details etc, it really adds to the finish. If you've been sitting on the fence about doing the jeans workshop I couldn't recommend it highly enough!

Fabric, Patterns even sewing classes this place is the best. Shopping for fabric here is an experience. Beautiful fabric and great staff. Highly recommended.

We had a lovely afternoon browsing and acquiring new patterns and materials for future sewing projects. The staff were so helpful, even when we kept changing our minds. We were supposed to be going to the cricket at Edgbaston but glad we gave it a miss!

Wonderful shop, great selection of fabrics and notions. Knowledgeable staff and excellent service from Gemma. Definitely recommend. Worth a 40 minute trip to get there.
