I visited Falcon Fabrics for the first time this week and it was like stepping into Wonderland!

The vast array of fabrics is incredible; they have a stunning range of upholstery and dressmaking fabrics, trims and sewing accessories! There really is something for everyone here.

They are only a 30 minute walk from the station (or you can get the number 700 bus) so it is very easy to visit and as I was visiting from another town I was so happy to find this gem!

The staff are very friendly and helpful with cutting your fabric and with any queries. I spent over an hour here and I didn't want to leave!

I honestly can't recommend this place enough and I can't wait to come back!

Falcon Fabrics is like a sweet shop for us ladies who love to do sewing. Beautiful Fabric and the quality are just wonderful. Tge customer service there is amazing too. I highly recommend them.

Love this place!
Staff are always so helpful and friendly. From start (helping me choose the right material) to finish (helping me carry bits to my car) such excellent service.
I had my lounge curtains made, two stalls recovered and cushions made for my sofa and I’m over the moon with everything. Such great service (the lady with the red hair really knows her stuff), everything’s so well made and I didn’t have to wait too long. Kept popping back as this really is a place you can’t go once. Nigel has the patience of a saint helping me with a Christmas cushion and the other guy was so friendly and kept calling me doll….lol, haven’t been called doll for years and years! But it’s that kind of place, friendly, welcoming and a pleasure to go into.
Loads of easy parking, shop is on the ground floor, packed with materials on rolls, sample books, cottons, curtain rods, everything you would expect from a first class haberdashery.
Just wanted to mention….the price on my curtains and cushion (to be handmade) came up cheaper then the high street to have the same made.

I am quite new to sewing came in on Saturday and spoke with a lovely lady called Kim who went above a beyond to talk me through features on my sewing machine and issues I’ve been having she shared her knowledge with me she was very friendly and patient . An overwhelming choice of fabric here. Staff are friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Allowed me to take samples of fabric home before deciding which to buy for a blanket box project. I was totally clueless and the staff went above and beyond with their help and advice - they cut the foam to size and added wadding for me.. cheaper than than buying from Dunelm too. Made it all very easy for me.. thank you!
