I used to come here all the time a few years ago. I've recently got back into sewing so came for some supplies and the service was shocking. From the moment I arrived i was followed round and the woman who I believe is the owner sat and watched me the whole time I was there. Everything is a lot more expensive than anywhere else. The threads are priced at £2.25 compared to £1.45 directly from the company. The fabric used to be priced between £5-£10 now it is all at around £15-£20. I wouldn't recommend unless you like being treated like a thief while also being overcharged. Real shame.

I don't know what I would do without this place! My daughter dances and they are always helping me match colours and ribbons she needs! The staff are so helpful and friendly. Cannot recommend them enough!

Popped in here today for some fabric. Staff followed me around as if I was going to steal from them. No fabric glue as advertised on site. When I asked about it had a rude reply. Staff was rude with the acception of one young lady. This used to be a fantastic place to shop.Guessing there new owner. I would never shop at this place again. Which is ashame because I used to love it there.

Recently broken the zip to my sofa cushion and the ladies at Fabrica sorted it so very fast, I was delighted with the finish. The new owners seem very friendly and I’m so excited I now have somewhere to go for any sewing repairs! The dress making courses look brilliant too. Thanks you for your excellent speedy service, I will definitely be back.

1st time I have been in the shop since the change of ownership. The member of staff by the material did not great or acknowledge me. I walked round to the yarn section to browse and felt like the staff member followed me. When someone else came in the member of staff sounded like she sighed. The place did not feel very friendly and there was no atmosphere like there used to be. I won't be going back.
