They have a good range of fabrics but the shop wasn't very accessible for me as someone with limited mobility. The lady cut me the wrong amounts of fabric and told me the price was more than what it said on the roll.

We are finding everything we need in FE shop. The ladies working in there are always polite and helpful. Theire is a big variety of fabrics and sewing craft for newbies and professionals. Prices are varied, but the designer fabrics are well bellow their original price. Parking spaces all around the shop are free of charge and easy to park. Working time until 6pm is also a bonus. They offering sewing and alternation services in store. We have been their clients for years and never felt differently since the day we first visited the shop. Thank you ladies!

I found the shop very bright, clean and orderly and the fabrics displayed to be easily seen. Very helpful assistant who listened to me regarding finding a fabric in a particular shade for my daughter's wedding. She made really helpful and practical suggestions and pulled out lots of rolls of fabric for me to consider. Prices very reasonable.Nothing was too much trouble. Looking forward to visiting again.

This is an amazing aladins cave of all things fabric, dressmaking and trims. Such a wide range to choose from. It's stocks beautiful fabric for any occasion. The young chap who served us was very helpful with a good knowledge of the trade. Will definitely be back.

Love this place always check here first when I have a new project for uni or just for myself. So much choice you definitely need a little while to properly rummage and see everything! Rolls of fabric with even more rolls behind, always packed to the rafters.

A good price range too, definitely lots of choice for someone on a budget, but they have some more premium fabrics available if you have extra money to spend.

Like an Aladdin’s Cave. Tons of fabrics, lots to choose from. Huge selection of bindings and ribbons and edgings. It’s all piled high and good to rummage through a great selection. Definitely my go-to.

I bought a load of fabrics but one set had marks, I tried to wash and the marks were still there. So I went back just to exchange for the same thing. The lady was so rude. She cut the material I needed and just threw it in my hand, no sorry, no bag, no folding. Me and my partner opened up the fabric to double check as we had driven all the way from rushden and didn't want the same issue again. There were marks on it again. Her response was oh that's just how it is!!!! I said ok then I'll have a refund. She reluctantly snatched the money from the till and instead of putting in my hand she slammed it on the side, like it was my fault she was selling defective fabric. There were so many other fabrics I wanted in there but out of principle I'll go elsewhere. She has no manners and speaks to people like they are trash, yet without customers she wouldn't have a shop!! AVOID!!
