Me and my dog Jeff came across this shop today, and didn’t know it existed. It’s a real Aladdin's cave of curios and I would strongly recommend visiting it and Bishops Castle generally for its shear uniqueness. Was staying on Ludlow but came back 2 todays running as it’s so fascinating 👍🏽

Wonderful shop full of curios, owner displays a lot of knowledge about all the different emphemira, vintage and collectable. Have purchased many items for birthday presents. Always helpful and honest. Will be back again.

Nestled in the charming, atmospheric old town of Bishops Castle, 'Empires and Eagles' is a wonderful spot for lovers of antiques, militaria, books, bric a brac, jewellery, or novelties from bygone eras.An old world shop with vintage music within the ambience, it is a virtual 'Alladin's Cave' of pre war history.I have bought ornamental walking canes, antique whistles, bells, World War 1 artefacts and many fine, quality items. The proprietors are knowledgeable and very helpful, even sourcing items at request.Have a nice day out in Bishops Castle, with specialist shops, boutique cafes, fine pubs and sandwich bars.
