The place is huge and with a good selection . I’ve asked a friendly staff to point me towards the aisle for linen and viscose - the min to buy is 10m , yet prices are super affordable. Definitely I will go back .

I have been shopping a customer of Empee silk since they have been at Brick Lane and I find them very helpful . They are aways busy and so if they come across as if they donot have time it is not done intentionally. They have a great range of most fabrics and will stop to help you if you know what you need or want. Otherwise they leave you alone to browse until you have made a decision. This place is like fabric heaven for me!

I have been a regular customer at Empee for over a year now and always look forward to my fabric shopping visits! The warehouse is stacked with amazing fabrics of all types and the staff are helpful and friendly. You can get lost in there rifling through the thousands of rolls so give yourself plenty of time if you are planning a visit. Online my orders always come through very quickly, there is always somebody available on the phone to help with any queries and the team are always quick to send out samples where needed.

I'm only an artist and not VAT registered so they said I had to buy a minimum of 10 metres of any fabric I wanted. I also felt like they were too busy for the likes of me. But, a very good range of stock.
