Do not go here for your fabrics. The lady just tried to sell me a polyester lining fabric after telling me it was 100%satin. When I felt it I knew straight away it was polyester. Then when I said I’m after silk fabrics and I’m a textiles teacher, she told me they don’t have any. They will sell you the wrong material

I had the idea to make scrunchies for my small business and the owner Sharon is the most wonderful person and so helpful, she gave me advice on what materials to use and how much I would need. She has the biggest and best range of fabric at such an affordable price. Her fabric shop is always my go to store! Thank you for your help and helping my business grow

Great range of fabrics in this shop. After a wide search of the area, we found just what we wanted priced well below any other that we had seen. The lady who owns the shop was friendly and helpful, and even offered us a cup of tea while we browsed. There is ample parking nearby either free on the street or very cheap in the car park. If you're looking for fabric come here first and save yourself a lot of time and effort.

Discovered this material shop after trawling the internet for a local fabric shop rather than travelling far and wide. Sharon who owns this shop is always helpful and the choice of materials for all applications is mind boggling but especially dress materials for my wife Esther. Highly recommended for the vast array of materials.

It is over 25 years since I bought any material to make anything. I regularly pass by but never visited the shop until today and was staggered by the amazing selection of fabrics available!! The assistant was lovely, really helpful and knowledge. Highly recommend others to pay a visit.

Looked all over for furnishinge fabric, untill someone told me about Terry Fabric in Stockport, I was delighted with the vast selection of fabrics they had on display.As I would not like to purchase fabric that I could not see and feel which seems to be the way things are going these days I was over the moon with the fabric I bought from Terrys
