Great place to go for anything relating to curtains and blinds! Once again I had my own in-store guide who took her time to explain everything clearly. This older lady was very knowledgeable and it was a pleasure getting help with my options from her. I'll definitely recommend this store!

A brilliant shop that needs a website to at least expand on what they offer! I thought this shop just sold curtains, blinds and upholstery fabrics, but it stocks so much more, including dressmaking, haberdashery, and even a small selection of knitting yarns.

The staff are really friendly and helpful, know their regulars. Always a warm welcome.

My only bug is that fabric lengths are cut instead of torn, so you have to trim the fabric down for some projects before you can start. Meant I had to shorten the planned length of the curtains I was making.

Service was absolutely fantastic! The staff actually knew what I was talking about and helped me in the best way they could! I was initially just looking for ideas for other projects but after talking to some of the staff members and explaining everything, they found the perfect fabric for me. That was it, I had to buy it there and then! I even saw a younger guy working there (must have been in his late teens to early twenties) gluing together foam, measuring it and then cutting it to size for a customer! What brilliant service from a shop I only discovered a few days ago! Will definitely go back there again!

Only one member ofbstaff but very efficient and so helpful. It was very cold in there though, could do with turning the heating up. Not bad stock levels. Was looking for upholstery braiding and could have done with more variety.

Cutting Edge is a lovely shop. There is an excellent choice of fabrics, curtains, blinds and haberdashery. The staff are very helpful and knowledgeable. I was told the best way to shorten curtains from the top, which worked perfectly. Definitely recommend.

The Best Dog Beds in Basingstoke.
Store was open at 08.35 so popped in a brought two excellent dog beds. The chap who served me went out of his way to show me the huge range, he climbed the racking to reveal even more dog beds in all sizes from small to extra large. I thought the quality was great and the price £16.95 hence the feed back. Great Local Store and outstanding service. And one very happy Welsh Terrier. Oh added bonus the covers have zips so can be removed for washing.. Awesome

Helpful staff and lots of choice. The shop will be shutting early September from Brighton Hill retail park as their rent has gone up a ridiculous amount. It will be such a shame to lose this treasure trove from Basingstoke

This shop is a little gem! It's one of a dwindling number of shops of its type, selling mending items you won't find in many places, plus wool, fabric, ribbons, curtains, blinds, etc. Basically it's a bona fide haberdasher. Always find what I want in there, and the staff are great!
