I had a fantastic couple of days making a oval basket with Joe at Creative with Nature. Joe was a great teacher, walking us through various different weaving techniques and offering us lots of support and guidance.
It was my first experience weaving and I'm really proud of my basket. It is very sturdy and practical for shopping and foraging. I heartily recommend Joe's workshops.

I've now been taught to weave two fantastic projects by Joe. Everything about the days spent with her have been perfect. The venue is lovely (and smells amazing!), easy parking with a great cafe downstairs. The quality of the items I've been able to produce has blown me away. But this only comes down to Joe's tuition which is warm, down to earth, patient and just oozing with the heaps of experience she has of this craft and the materials. I can't wait to weave with her again.

What a well-organised workshop in a relaxed environment. Five friends made a swallow each in our willow weaving half-day workshop. I am not at all arty or practical, but Joe was supportive and non-judgemental and even MY swallow looked like one! The upstairs workshop is bright and airy. It's great too that it's located above the delightful 'Willow' cafe that her daughter and partner run - the homemade lemon drizzle with a cuppa halfway through the afternoon were delicious. Doing a workshop with friends like this is a much more memorable and fun birthday present for a friend than buying them more 'stuff'.

Spent a wonderful creative day weaving my first ever creation, a garden support for my sweat peas. With no previous experience of weaving, I was able to create two professional-looking supports that I am now enjoying in the garden. Joe's instructions are clear and easy to follow, all materials well prepared and laid out in a welcoming craft room above an excellent cafe with superb cake! Highly recommended!

I attended a basket weaving course with Joe. The class was small, welcoming and made a new skill accessible. Joe is a great teacher with an informal style and infectious enthusiasm for her craft. I was so pleased with my basket and look forward to trying another class soon.

We had a wonderful day and actually created a beautiful bird that we will be proud to put in our garden. Joe was very informative and helpful but also let us be creative in our own way. The workshop is great, as is the coffee shop downstairs. I would definitely recommend this fun day out.

I'm amazed by Jo's expertise at Creative With Nature. Despite my lack of experience, she's guided me through creating four incredible baskets, introducing me to a new hobby that's incredibly relaxing and mindful. The small group setting provides an almost one-on-one experience, complemented by delicious sandwiches and cakes at the on-site cafe. Can’t wait for my next basket session. Cheers!

Fantastic venue and really great teaching. I was so pleased with the basket that I made over the 2 day course. Joe has a great teaching style that is really accessible. There was a lovely small group of like minded souls and we had a great time. Todmorden is a good place to visit and spend time too. Highly recommended.
