Aggressive blow drying, damaged hair, looked nice finished but braids were tight. I even got some traction alopecia on my edges.

Comforts is great! I wish there was no waiting period when you have booked an appointment ,and the time she has to stop to answer the phone and book appointments.All in all they are very good at what they do,I cannot fault them .

Always trying to charge you more than they should then proceeding to make you feel bad for catching on, it’s incredibly insulting. Manager has a bad attitude, overall I feel uncomfortable each time i go there. I will not be returning and if you value good service and reasonable pricing then I advise to avoid!

I have been coming to this company for 20 years, I travel from Weymouth to come to this specific salon and for the entirety of the time I have been coming here I have received amazing service without fail, comfort is a lovely and incredible woman who is brilliant at what she does! Would 100% recommend her to everyone and having her do my hair is worth the travel. I visited this Saturday to have my braids put back in and got nothing less then perfection 🙂 working by herself in the shop and still smashes it, credits to this woman! See you again soon - Sara

For a first time customer, I had an amazing time doing my hair. Aunty Comfort even offered my hot chocolate. Her team was awesome, friendly and professionals. Her team even helped me unblock my piercing which I had struggled to do. I love them too bits. I will definitely will be back!

I have been coming to this salon for over 20 years to have my hair braided. I have always had such a good, friendly and professional service, so much so that my daughter (20) also comes to have her hair braided here. She is out of Bristol studying and like me will only come here to Comforts to have her hair braided. My hair always looks amazing when I leave the salon, if I could leave more than 5 starts I would!

I needed cornrows done last minute before a boxing fight. And I was very impressed with every part of the service. The booking was arranged for the next day, even though I phoned up quite late in the evening. Everyone in the salon was very helpful. The staff have a very good understanding of different designs. And despite being busy, they manage to pay a lot of attention to each customer's request. The atmosphere is friendly but professional at the same time. My hair was done exactly how I wanted. I felt very comfortable in the ring. And it still looked just as tidy after the fight as it was immediately after I got it done. Many thanks to all the staff. I will definitely be back next time I'm fighting. And I would highly recommend this salon to anyone who wants to have their hair braided be that for combat sports, or any other purpose.
