Being new to camping I needed a lot of advice and guidance. Bex was extremely knowledgeable and friendly . I have now had my first night using the recommended tent , mattress and blanket and they are all great .

Bought a pair of Mammut boots which unfortunately developed a fault in the lacing system. Customer Service was exceptional with quick email responses and a phone call, the issue was resolved very quickly, will definitely use the company again.

Ok. So this is more a product than of their service. I purchased a big Agnes tent online as I wanted a higher quality product. All was posted out on time with no hassle. I tried the tent and found only seven pegs when in reality you need nine. I assumed most people buy higher quality pegs anyway which I did. The ground sheet that was recommended by big Agnes was an extra. I called basecampgear just to get their reaction to the lack of tent pegs, not because I wanted anything as I had purchased high quality ones from elsewhere. Their reaction was poor saying "that's what's in the package and there's nothing we can do" , hence four stars. The tents is pretty good. I did notice it's a product made in Taiwan and stitched in china so don't go thinking you're buying an American made tent. My other gripe is that I left a fair product review on basecampgear web site which they have not published , I'm thinking that it is due to it not being a first class review, hence this Google review that they can't control. Incidentally I paid them forty pounds more than I could buy the same tent elsewhere after some research. Just incase basecampgear approach Google to have this review removed my order number was web345953. Sales invoice available on request from Google.
