Beautifully assorted shop in this humongous monumental building, to which we return annually (for a conference). Best and possibly biggest brutalist building i know. The shop is like a museum shop.

Excellent gift shop. I was pleasantly surprised at the prices. Bought a really nice summer scarf for £10 and a pair of unique earrings (exclusive to the shop) for £11. Definitely recommend stopping in if you're in the area.

A complete rip off. 2 small and 1 tiny cuddly toys £140. Yes they we’re the Totero characters from the show but that’s gouging. Similar toys at other captive venues such as the zoo are 1/3 of the price. Shameful. Creature in photo was £45!

Rhea served me and my partner in the giftshop today and she was so lovely and welcoming. Honestly a fantastic way to start our day and such a welcoming attitude as well. She was so lovely, deserves a raise to be fair!

I ordered an item 2 weeks ago - the shipping costs were more costly than the item itself (but I really wanted to have a print they offer). The item was never deliver only to get a note that supposedly I was not there to receive the post. There was no note, and nobody that came?! It is time of pandemics so we are at home all the time, with kids (!), and German post service is super reliable. I dont know how reliable is "Royal mail" that was supposed to deliver this but it never came! And then the response by Barbican shop was, sorry you were not there so, we will either send it again (and I have to take the costs, which is totally weird and unfair), or they will refund me the item (but not the post costs). Khm, push everything on the customer, even if the postage service they contracted (if they did?), did not do its job. No way.
