Yesterday, I went into Barbican Fabrics and found the ladies in there amazing. They were welcoming and friendly and helped me massively as a beginner understand the tools and fabrics I would need. Cannot wait to go back, would definitely recommend.

First time visiting on the off-chance it was open while working in Plymouth.

Exceptionally friendly, knowledgeable and helpful lady. Great range and variety of fabrics, with everything else you need dotted around the store. Very reasonable prices too.

My new favourite fabric shop - I'm so pleased I decided to go for a wander after work! Thank you Karen for all your help and patience.

I didn't know this was here! It is a fabulous shop with some amazing stock. Everything you could possibly want as a sewer. I was so excited to go in and look around. I did buy some fat quaters and will be going back as soon as I can for some material for tops...Next time my Husband won't be waiting outside I will go with my Friend and we can spend more time and money in there...Lovely Lady owner too...😊🧵 x

This is a great business, the lady who owns it is always cheery and pleased to greet you. I have had a number of garments altered and the work is faultless every time and not too expensive. I highly recommend this business. a wide variety of fabrics and sewing kit is on sale too - call in next time you're passing.
