We have been using Kate at AFW for many years now. The quality of her work is exceptional. She is very friendly and lets you choose from her extensive collection of frames, mounts and glass types.
Her super-skill however is suggesting what frames and mounts to use. Ideally you take a photo of the location with you. The attached pictures of a peacock looked very good when we bought it from a local artist but now looks totally brilliant after following her suggestions.

Katie did an amazing job on framing some prints I’d brought back from a holiday, her advice on borders and the frame was very helpful and the finished product looks great. She also recommended picture hooks which are so much easier to use even in solid walls and i’ve just put up about 8 pictures in half an hour that had been in a pile for at least 3 years. Thank you!

I went to the gallery today for advice about a frame which had started to come apart. I spoke to a lovely friendly lady who suggested that she could re-glue it and add additional staples for reinforcement which she did and she was happy to work on it there and then! She then refused any payment for her work although I insisted she accept a donation for her time. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Framing Workshop which provides excellent customer service. Kate is a fantastic framer, one of the best I have worked with. I have used Kate's framing workshop for over 12 years and she has framed many prints for me. She is very professional and extremely helpful. I am delighted with all the work she has done for me over the years including a new framed piece which I collected today.

Was recommend by a friend about coming here, took in 2 cross stitches that I had done as Christmas presents and spoke to Kate, she is so helpful and really helped me on what frames to have. Picked up the cross stitches today, OMG I am blown away they are better than what I thought. Would highly recommend coming here again and Kate is so helpful, friendly and so knowledgeable,will definitely be coming back again as I've got more cross stitches to do for friends and family.
