Really great day out, there were six of us and we all had a good time. I don't think anyone had a single winner but we did have a lot of fun.

Best racecourse I have been to in UK. Only down point is Gents toilet experience left a lot to be desired. Cattle class. Apart from that had a great day.

One of the UK's premier Racecourses (along with Cheltenham) in a lovely setting but right on the High Street.
Excellent facilities and plenty of choice with regards to bars/drink options and food outlets/restaurants too.
Amazing view from the higher levels of the Grandstand.

Superb racecourse with great facilities and amazingly friendly staff.
The free car parks are 1 & 6 which are about a 10 minute walk from the main gate so bring your flats ladies and carry your heels in a bag! Grass is immaculately lawned so recommend wedge heels.

Plenty of booths to place bets. Bars can get very busy so you might have a wait.

Beautiful grounds and plenty of space to enjoy from inside if the weather turns.

We visited on a Friday on what was the coldest day of the winter so far. We just had the standard entrance tickets and it didn't take long to get through the turnstiles.
Surprised by quite how big the place was, it's huge. However not enough seats were available in the warm. One big section is half open to the elements and the other was just so busy. Outside it was 2 degrees so braving it for the races was about as much as one could take before getting back to the warm.
Had some lunch which was the biggest disappointment. I paid ÂŖ12 at The Deli for sausages in a baguette, which wasn't a baguette but a soft Aldi metro roll lookalike, and wasn't offered anything to go with it like butter or sauce before he was on to the next person. So a bone dry three anaemic looking sausage roll it was with a small amount of side salad. My partner had a salt beef one but at least he got offered butter!
I know they can't guarantee the weather but more warm seated spaces are needed for the winter. I'd like to experience it in the summer to see what it's like then but for now, it was just a disappointing (cold) day.
