My daughters have attended art-K classes from the age of 8 and absolutely love going. It is the only activity that any of my children have kept going with for more than a couple of years! My eldest daughter is 15 now and studying for GCSE Art. She recently told me that art-K classes make all the difference and she doesn't feel overloaded with producing her portfolio, unlike many of her peers. Kathryn has instilled her with confidence and belief which has really helped her in all aspects of teenage life. Her school Art teachers told me at Parents evening that she must continue to do A level Art and were so complimentary. I honestly believe that without art-K this wouldn't be the case.
My younger daughter has been coming for the past 2 1/2 years and is equally positive about Art. She has just been awarded an Art Scholarship into her next school at 11+ and Kathryn was so supportive.
We are not an "Arty" family so I really do put the creativity down to art-K and feel very positive about recommending the classes to anyone. I have no doubt being creative will help my children throughout their life and keep their minds open.

My 11 year old daughter has been attending Art-K for approx 3 years. She loves it. She's always liked art but it's now a passion. She's not overly keen on outside school commitments but Art-K is priority number 1. Kathryn is already laying the groundwork in place to prepare her for an art scholarship. This is a wonderful place that my daughter has been going to for a year or so now. Shes young (started at 5) but the great thing about art k is that children are given an environment that isn't limited. They use real art supplies, are encouraged to learn and explore different skills and styles, and make art they care about.

As a parent who has zero artistic talent i am so pleased that my daughter has art k to nurture hers.

Both my children have been attending Art-K for a few years and they love it. Its creative and fun, Kathryn and her team are wonderful with lots of fantastic ideas and so encouraging. My daughter attended Kathryn's art club for 6 years until she left to do her GCSE’s. Her artistic abilities were developed beyond any level she thought possible, learning to paint and draw, to experiment with a large variety of media and materials which helped her with her studies considerably My son is now following in his sister's footsteps and really enjoying art-K. What a fantastic teacher Kathryn is. She coaches and encourages, always enthusiastic and generous, inspiring everyone to experiment and to stretch themselves. My children always mention how much fun Kathryn’s classes are, a reflection of her personality and sense of humour.

Kathryn has been brilliant every since we first made contact with her. She has created a very calming and friendly atmosphere. My two children have been attending art-K lessons for several years and have enjoyed the creative, fun and relaxed sessions. It has been rewarding to see their skills and creativity develop. They have regularly shown their work at public exhibitions and it has been lovely to see the variety of dynamic art shared with the local community. My teenager also completed his skills section for the Duke of Edinburgh awards at art -K. As a bonus, we now have a fantastic collection of artwork on display at home!
