Too small for the gig we attended; fire safety hazard as was over full. Also full of hooligans who were smashing glasses. Not only that but we PAID money to get into the venue for a gig to then arrive and find out that everyone was admitted with no payment. How is it fair to those of us who paid for the gig when randoms were still allowed in to watch from the back?! Absolute shambles and we won’t be returning. Absolute joke of a venue that charges ticket prices for some yet have no security and allow any riffraff in that are rude, they are already drunk and were still served. I’m disgusted to be honest and I’ll be claiming my money back for this so called ‘gig’

The Artisan Tap is fast becoming one of our favourite music venues, offering an eclectic selection of folk, punk, rock & roll, plus much more. Not only does it offer great gigs, but it does so in an environment that feels somewhere between an American dive bar and an Alice in Wonderland tea shop. It does get crowded in there and it does sell out easily, but the squeeze is well worth it and it pays to plan ahead.
