I took some items in almost a month ago which I was made to pre-pay for. Every time I have gone there to collect (I have lost count how many times!) they have been shut even though it says online they are open! I have made several calls and messages and not had a response - they have over £100 worth of clothes that I can’t get back!

I will never use again absolutely rubbish alteration !! Overpriced ! Zero customer service and rude!!! Took in suit to have trousers taken up and jacket sleeves shortened. No price given and was going to ring that day with price after several times of trying to contact on phone and sending email still no response or price. I eventually got a response on phone a week later when it was too late to take somewhere else. My partner made 2 visits to collect with no response and on the 3 attempt rang from downstairs and was told that she was too busy to walk down the stairs for him to collect RUDE!!! She delivered the suit which after paying the totally overpriced charge the trousers are too short and quite frankly I could have done a better job at both with wonder web! Will never be using again!!!

I was very dissapointed. I wanted to get a Bridesmaid dress altered. During my first appointment, I was asked to wear the dress and stand as a lady fitted me. Two weeks passed without hearing from the shop and so I phoned to ask what the update was regarding my dress and they told me I would have to come in again for another fitting and that they would charge more if I were to get the waist taken in. I finally got told to come in nearly 3 weeks after my first appointment and, due to it being out of my budget, I said I would just have the length taken up. I wore the dress again and had to pivot as a different lady measured me again (making the first appointment pointless) and she proceeded to cut around the base of the dress -which was quite rushed and a little uneven! When I went to pay it was only cash or a bank transfer. I had to take more cash out as the lady told me it would cost £10 more than I was originally quoted which was plucked out of thin air and I had no option as the dress had already been cut! I was so upset by this service and won't be using it again. I had a few friends who needed alterations and I would tell them to go elsewhere! I wish I had just done it myself as I think I would have done just as good a job and saved myself money, stress & upset. What a shame.

I couldn't be happier with the service and friendliness of Kim at Any Alterations Biggleswade. She expertly shortened as well as took in the shoulders and bodice of my highly detailed and finely beaded wedding dress in pretty quick turnaround ..since I was to fly abroad with my dress for a family emergency.

Kim did an great job altering a sequined jumpsuit for my 50th Birthday party. She worked miracles to make it look fantastic. I was delighted with the quality of work and she is a lovely person, which is an added bonus! Very professional with an amazing eye for detail. I would have no hesitation recommending her. Kim is extremely talented and came recommended from colleagues at work. I had previously used her for some relatively straightforward repairs on a jacket which were very reasonably priced, but this time she has transformed a 30 year old Barbour jacket which was looking very tired and worn (ripped, frayed, torn) and given it a complete new lease of life. Great service.
