Can't recommend Amersham Designs highly enough. Mel just "got" us from the start, so much so that we are now gradually working our way through the whole house with her help! Updating colour schemes; adding textured wallpapers; mixing and matching gorgeous fabrics for curtains, sofas and chairs; sourcing rugs, lamps and quirky finishing touches. The best thing is that we feel very involved, so that the end result feels very much our (rather colourful and eclectic!) style, but with the massive benefit of Mel's expertise and artistic eye to bring it all together. The quality of everything we have ordered through AD is superb, including curtains, blinds and upholstery. Mel, Claudia and the rest of the AD team are professional, patient and absolutely lovely to work with, from start to finish.

We have worked with Amersham Designs on a couple of projects and love working with them. Our projects have included new flooring, a new colour scheme and soft furnishings with a few extras. We were encouraged to be a bit more playful with our colour choices and fabric selections and were so pleased that we took their advice. The results are stunning and have transformed our home.

Amersham Designs were clear about pricing and costs up front and worked within the budget that we set for items suggested and ordered. They were able to provide suppliers who they trusted and when one of the suppliers sent the wrong item with the wrong label, they were on to it immediately with no drama.

Our first contact with Amersham Designs was to purchase blinds for our new fitted kitchen. We were shown a selection of different types of bespoke blinds that would be suitable for our needs. Once the blinds were purchased, Sarah a member of the Amersham Blinds team took care of all the installation. We used Amersham Designs again to provide additional blinds for our newly installed bathroom.
It was at this point we found out that Amersham Designs were also an Interior Design Company. With this in mind we continued our relationship with Sarah by explaining our requirements for the complete redesign of our rather dishevelled maisonette. This incorporated the entrance hall, stairs and landing, bedroom and lounge.
We were given examples of furniture and bedding, furnishings, upholstery, wardrobe and storage cupboard designs. Also the choice of carpets throughout, electrical fittings including specialist lighting. The list is endless.
From the moment the project commenced Amersham Designs employed carpenters, electricians decorators and tradesmen who all contributed to completely transforming our home.
Sarah had taken care of it all with her personal approach to the project.
We continue to use Amersham Designs for any additional items and would highly recommend their services.
