So so disappointed!! I got twists done last Saturday and the welcome when I stepped into the salon was the worst! The girls laughed at my hair cause it was really full and kept muttering to each other how my hair was going to take forever whilst laughing. I was still patient and I waited for my turn cause I really needed to get my hair done that Saturday! I kept asking the asking the lady making my hair if adding so much gel to my hair was a good idea but she insisted it was. Fast forward to now, my hair is breaking terribly!! It’s just been a week but my hair looks like it’s been on for 3 months!

The service was quick however this is my first and last visit. I went in for hair parts because I couldn’t get the lines straight at the back so I could then braid my hair myself. Over the phone the price was £10/£15 and when the service was completed it went up to £25, apparently because I requested the partings to be secured with elastics hair bands. I wonder how the parts would stay in place without the elastics until I got home… The place appears to be decent and has good reviews but this was a no no so make sure you ask about pricing over and over and show them references.

Due to options I may try again when I'm pressed for time.
I had twists done. My hair is not that long.
It was close to my home
1. They took a long time
2. It was overpriced.
3. It looked very average(which does not make the other two worth it, I have paid the same for much better)

Because of my schedule and choices, I may try again sometime soon with a different person. But I can't say I was happy

Discovered this Afro Hair hairdressers randomly this morning. I requested an appointment via WhatsApp and I got responded to straight away.

Victoria is a multi-skilled Hairdresser from Nigeria doing every kind of hairstyle you can think of. Today Victoria achieved my cornrow extensions perfectly (not too tight at all). Victoria finished my hair off by setting it with hot water, olive oil sheen spray and even styling my edges with the best gel ever (Eco Styler).

I visited this salon today for the first time following a Google search reviews and this hair salon was listed tops among the others. I had a warm reception from Aicha the which was a good start as she showed interest.

I had the style (2 step cornrows with twist) done to my specifications and it turned out very good and that is a big plus for me as some hair dressers tend to fail at this leaving you with something different from your choice.

It wasn't painful or too tight plus the price is good and the shop is clean too contrary to the review from a previous customer.

I am happy with the service I received today I will visit again . If you are reading this in search of a good African hair dresser then you've just found it.

Aicha did my Mum’s hair for her holiday. She used kinky hair for some soft twists and it looked amazing! Aicha and her team were so friendly and professional! I would definitely recommend!
