ACT Hair & Beauty is the best salon in Birmingham! Schola has been amazing with my relaxers. I have been going to her ever since September 2023 my hair was damaged, and she completely transformed it. Her expertise and care have made such a difference, and I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my hair. I wish there were 10 stars available to rate her!

ACT Hair!! what an experience😊 from the offer of a bottle of water, tea and coffee while waiting.I decided to have a french pedicure excellent, completed to a high standard with a great degree of care and attention to detail by the nail artist. Greeted warmly by the owner she was friendly and professional gentle when washing my hair with amazing smelling products. Then she was able to bring my vision for the hairstyle in saif photos an all round great experince cnt wait for my next hair do😁👍 xxx

Meeting the hairdresser Scholar for the first time was a warm and welcoming experience.

I have been to this Salon on multiple occasions and have never been disappointed. The products used are very high quality which means my hair grows and despite the natural Afro-type texture of my hair, the shampoo and conditioner itself leaves my hair soft and manageable on a daily basis. I have also had leave outs and braids which is done in a short period of time to a high standard, I did not have to complain once about the duration spent in the salon or pain. Would definitely recommend others.

Visited the salon for the 1st time in October. I was impressed with treatment provided by Schola who was friendly and professional. She did a great job plaiting/ styling my mother's hair. She also gave good advice in general haircare.
Went to salon for treatment and cornrows today. Was wowed by Julia's skills. She suggested a style and I was not disappointed. Looks like I'll have to go back again 😏

Schola is a fantastic hairdresser. She does a professional job every time. She always makes me as a customer happy and impressed with the top quality of her work. She also provides a warm, friendly environment whereby, as a customer, you feel welcome and comfortable. The saloon is in perfect neat condition and spacious. I wish this facility would allow me to give rate her 10 stars 🌟 as 5 stars is underrated for this top-notch exquisite pulchritudinous hairdresser. I brobdingnagianly recommend this ACT Hair & Beauty Saloon to anybody as the Hairdresser Schola is outstanding and sensational and professional at her craft. She will do a terrific job, and your hair will be well taken good care of and she'll give you a beautiful hairstyle 💯

Great salon, very friendly this is my second time at ACT and definitely a regular customer now...nothing is too much....ACT is the only Black Hair that specialize in White European hair too. Saw some amazing styles upon my visits to ACT. The only Salon on South Side of Birmingham...all local buses run by. From a wash and blow dry to specialist weaves, dread lock twists, definitely a ONE STOP SHOP.. , whilst there, I went in to go platinum, changed my mind and came out auburn...What are you waiting for give them a ring.

I don't think I've ever written a review but theres a first time for everything. I found this place based on online reviews and having a look at their instagram page which can be a hit or miss. I wanted a treatment and cornrows for underneath my wig called in advance to ask for the price and it was reasonable compared when to other places I was looking into. I came in and met Scola, she was 100% professional and seemed to be very knowledgeable. She took time to study my hair. I should also add that I have very thick and full type 4 hair so salon visits are almost always a headache. In this case, Scola was very gentle and I would go as far as saying I got one of the best detangling experiences I've had from recent memory. She was also happy to oblige to do my cornrows without blowdrying it. To top it all off I left my phone charger in the salon and she was so kind as to ship it to me. A plus service and I will definitely make the trip down from Coventry again!
