Lovely welcoming ladies, very friendly and professional. I regularly have treatment here and they are always done to the highest standard. I recently had eyelash extensions, eyebrow wax and tint and my nails done for both my wedding and for my honeymoon and all have the treatments have lasted so well. Highly recommend.

This is a very friendly salon. You don't feel uncomfortable of you've never been before (like myself). I asked for someone who would be able to advise on the best cut for me, and I had a very nice lady who knew exactly what to do with my hair. The prices are very good, much lower than the popular salons in the city. Parking is easy and free as it's within the Bowthorpe centre. They have different levels of stylists/cutters so if you just want a trim you can pay less for a junior stylist.

I have been going to Wow for a while now, however am extremely unhappy with my hair this time. I wanted a change from graduated bob to a pixie bob with shorter sides and took my phone with a picture of the style. Told stylist I didn't want my hair really short. I ended up with my hair far too short! I was upset so just paid and left. Disappointed!

If i could give 0 stars i would - In short i do NOT recommend this salon! Avoid it. Very clicky. expect to be humiliated, belitted,bullied and made out to be in the wrong if god forbid they dont get it right and have to fix it.

If interested, Below is my experience:

Firstly, upon going to leave a review i found my account which they knew about was blocked before i could leave one so I’ve left it on one they didn’t know about - so there is clearly false advertisement of the shop happening, or should I say rigged.

Do not go to this salon unless you are happy to walk out with your hair not done right and never go back, if you ask for it to be fixed if its wrong it will be made out to be your fault in some sort of way, with them acting like they are doing you a favour putting it right

This is the case for if you manage to see Zoe who will then keep a chip on her shoulder and be rude, belittling and intimidating towards you in front of the whole salon, thus ensuring to humiliate you on purpose, with absolutely no remorse. When you make her aware of her behaviour she sarcastically says “bless ya” while giving you a who cares look shaking her head.

When you then report these behaviours to the owner she will listen and believe only what her staff have to say once they have twisted it to make it sound like your fault (pattern occurring) and she will practically call you a lier in response to that complaint.

(as hairdressers it is their job to make sure your happy and if not then they need to fix it till you get it right - (Quoted by the hair council - By letting them fix it and not ask for their money back is doing them a favour, not the other way around, its not the clients fault you didn’t get it right for them and are entitled to have it fixed PLUS full refund or for the salon to pay for you have it corrected else where!) - The said owner told me that she did me a favour by fixing my hair for free, which all i can say is WOW. BUT if you don’t want to see that client again then still, professionally, discreetly let them know in advance so they do not book another appt to turn up and be victimised, humiliated and attacked in front of the whole salon)

In my experience i had a witness (member of public) who was disgusted in the behaviour she had seen yet i was still not listened to by said owner.

this salon is always hiring, which for sure makes you wonder if its because there are certain bullies in there.

Before going here (i moved) i had the same hairdressers for 10 years and not once was i treated this way. Absolutely Vile.
