I was just in to purchase chicks. I spoke to a young lady who took my order and wrote it on a box for six chicks. As I watched her start to fill the box I noticed that she grabbed two chicks that I had only asked for one of she then corrected herself said oh I got confused and pomptly fixed it. I was then distracted by my 2-year-old who was looking at baby chicks as she finished filling the rest of the box. I went to the register to pay for my 6 chicks only to get home and open a box with only 5. I guess it is my fault for not being more vigilant while the box was being filled but I honestly did not think that 6 was a hard number to fulfill. Just wanted to warn others to pay full attention so you are not also seemingly scammed.

Great medium sized shop loaded with clothing, gear, feed, power tools, cheap dog treats, unique toys, on and on. Awesome place, all the employees are friendly. Ryan was knowledgeable and super helpful today with finding a handful of things I was looking for.

I usually really like coming to this location, and I live in Highland’s Ranch, so it’s close by. This morning’s experience was unusually off.

I came into the store to buy some warm weather apparel. When finished making my selection, I walked up to the register.

The associate started scanning my items. The scanner was not fully charged, so it wasn’t working. The associate became instantly overly frustrated. One of the other associates, I believe her name was Lauren, said to her, place the scanner back into the charger for three seconds and it should then be ok.

The associate takes a be huffy breath, puts the scanner into the charger, waits two seconds and turns to Lauren and impatiently says, it’s still not working! She was like overly upset.🥹

Another associate said she could take me on another register, so I moved over to her.

This associate, while waiting on me, kept stopping to tell another associate on the register behind her, who was checking her mother out, how to run the transaction so that the mother could get her employee discount. 🙄

After she scanned all my items and I paid for the order, the associate immediately stepped away from me to go pay for her mom’s order with her credit card. She just brushed me off. Didn’t say goodbye, have a nice day, nothing!

Hoping this was just an off day, otherwise I will be doing business at the Parker location.

Other than being completely packed to the brim with merchandise, the store was fine. It's easier to get feed and ranch supplies at Big R or Tractor Supply. You're not fighting clothing racks and limited space in those places.

All of the 45-70 ammo is mispriced on the shelves. You don't know that until you take all your boxes to the register and it costs $10 more a box (all the way at the front of the store because the guys at the gun counter refuse to ring you up). The unhappy kid working the front register calls for a price check over the walkie and doesn't receive a reply.

So you walk all the way to the back with him and show him exactly where on the shelf it's clearly priced. But apparently everything on that shelf is mispriced. He shrugs. The guys behind the gun counter shrug.

Ask if you still want the boxes for the full price.

No, you'd like it for the price as marked. But that's not offered as the workers here acknowledge that everything in the store is mispriced. Waste of time, and trust.

The customer service has really fallen off at this store compared to how it was years ago. Used to shop here regularly but there continue to be better options in the area.

Have been shopping here for 2+ years, monthly at a minimum for dog food, etc.
Came in on Sunday 2/9/25 around 2pm to pick up my online order. Stood at the "pick up" counter for a bit before the lady selling Girl Scout Cookies told me we may want to go elsewhere because she hadn't seen anyone back there all day. Saw another register along the same counter with 2 employees; a young woman and a young man. I walked over and they both stopped talking and literally stared me down, more so the young man who had an evil glare at me the entire time. He never said hello, how can we help you, nothing. Finally the young woman asked how she could help me. I advised I was there to pick up an online order, meanwhile the male employee was still just staring at me. I was then told I needed to go to the regular registers to "pick up" my order.
I head over to the next register where the young woman literally goes over to where I just was standing to get my order. The entire thing was a huge waste of time.
My husband was waiting by the door the entire time watching to the point he asked what the problem was & why the male employee was glaring at me like that as he was ready to intervene & ask him what his problem was with me. Must have been an off day as usually everyone that works there is so friendly & helpful. This experience has changed my view of the store. After yesterday, if someone else sold what we needed, we would go there.

Every time I go there, I find something I didn't think I needed or even knew they carried.
The staff is always nice....I don't know of a store around with a younger staff like this that are always this helpful and seem to love where they work.
