not only is the fabric lovely the real reason to go is the fantastic service. friendly and humorous nothing like the crabby, unhelpful assistants in Bouyes and their cheap and nasty fabric

Lucky people of Guisborough to have such a great quilting/ knitting school on their doorstep. Visiting whilst on holiday so had to treat myself to some beautiful fabrics just in case. Thank you

Absolutely wonderful, I could have spent all day looking round the shop. Everything you could possibly need. The ladies were very kind and helpful. Wish I lived a bit closer, but will definitely go back before returning home from my holiday.

Met with the owner in December 2018 as a complete sewing novice. Was given excellent advice. Was able to negotiate on the price of the sewing machine I bought. Today I attended the first of 7 classes to learn the art of quilt making. The owners have been crafting since childhood. One of the owners was a teacher in an earlier life and is able to combine both skillsets to ensure customers come away armed with the information to make their own decision on the machinery (sewing, knitting and embroidery), tools and material required.
